Its made by wraping around two 2.3mm SS rods.

I just had an "AHA!" moment! (Thanks for putting up with all my noob stuff, you guys...) Yesterday, when I went to put the coils on the Boreas deck, the post was wonked around close to the other one, like it is in your pic, Boden. I said " IT'S BROKE!" and then realized the screw on the bottom was loose and the post moved. So I moved the post back over to be opposite the other one and tightened the screw, and said, "Whew, that was close!" But now I see it's MEANT to be moved, so you can build a single coil on it if you want. Is that right? Not that I'll be putting a single coil on the Boreas, but is that how that's supposed to work?

That's the first I've heard of that so I'd say no Lannie, the Boreas is dual coil only.

Really nice !!! and you have given me an idea, wouldn't this work so well in the Boreas, cause it needs so much wick, wouldn't this be the perfect coil for it and increase flavor...Hmmm, I will have to try it.

Your just trying to get us off topic.....oh go on then.

Your kind, caring, loving and fit.....and you vape. Yup, pefect. Now Emma is gonna wack me.
This will help

:headbang:
And everytime I fill my tank with this juice I have to come here and say it again, peach and menthol rocks ! This flavor works better in the Boreas than the Gemini, now the Boreas has more flavor. Round and round I go in my little vaping world  In my defence though, some juices are better at higher wattage.

Nothing surprising there, Rixsta. While it may be a stretch to say that every flavor has it's own sweet spot, I find that flavor profiles do. Fruits and dessert flavors generally, ime, do better at lower power than, say, heavier tobacco flavors.

(Hence my preference for regulated mods. Much easier to just dial in an appropriate power setting than try to remember what build goes with what flavor!)

Very helpful, thank you, most kind.
No problem. If you don't fully anneal the wire you will get something that looks like this when you take it off the rods.

Yeah, I figured that out. I was trying to show Rich how it "worked," except it didn't. And here I thought I was onto something... thought I'd made a great "discovery." LOL!

Man, there's NO catching up here for me. :(Drats. Leaving for New Orleans tomorrow for the family reunion. Been working unbelievable hours. Wish me luck with bringing my vape stuff on the plane.

Hope you have a great trip! I'd blow you a kiss for luck, but we don't seem to have one of those so this will have to do.

Awe thanks Kad. That means a lot. :) I ordered some cheap vape stuff to be sent to my sister's house in case something happens and for some reason I can't take mine with me. :)

yaw ay gorra be like da, ar dow care what yaw fink about may.. yaw cun just goo n shuv it.
Ya know what's really scary? I understood that.
We don't know the MEANING of the word posh!
Actually, the word started as an acronym, from when Brits sailed to India and the "good" cabins were on the shady side of the ship. It meant Port Out, Starboard Home. This later became synonymous with "the best accommodations."
"Might" implies maybe, and "could" implies definitely.
OK, bear in mind that this is coming from a turn-of-the-century technical writer. :) Many words have changed definitions due to popular misusage, but CAN (and, therefore, could) implies ability. MIGHT implies probability. MAY implies permission. To say "you may do it" says you have permission to do it, not that there is some probability that you will do it, but we have become very lazy about our words. If there is a proability that you MIGHT do something, then to say "He might, or he might not" is totally redundant, simply because MIGHT is indecisive all by itself.

Now, to satisfy the moderators, there is a very high probability (I can, I might... no I WILL!) that when I push the POST REPLY button, I am going to VAPE for awhile.

EDIT: "turn-of-the-century technical writer" above should have been "19th-to-20th century - not 20th-to-21st - CURMUDGEON technical writer."
