I have a 22 ear old puddy cat that owns my heart. She been my girl since she was around 4 weeks old and slept her first night in our house on my chest. The ex is the only one who can take care of her when I am gone for two weeks at a time at work. I tried letting my mom take care of her when I was gone but my cat went mental over that. My girl loves my mom, comes running to see her when my mom walks back here to visit and will even fall asleep upside down in my moms lap. Yet when I am gone to work she is very unhappy unless the ex is taking care of her and of course she needs her dog, my pit bull Rascal to be here too. So as long as my old phart girl is still among the living with us, I am stuck with the ex.
Some think I am an idiot, or a fool for letting the ex stay in my life but I made a promise to my furry little girl years ago when the ex and me first split after I caught her straying. I promised my little girl that as long as she is alive, she will have a home with me. I never broke a promise in my life and I have no intentions of doing so now, so if I must put up with the ex in order to make my cat happy, so be it. Thats the road I must travel.

I've put 4 different builds in the Merlin already as it's so easy to build on, settled on some SS Clapton, 0.7 ohm which is high for me but it's a good vape.

If I had to pick one, I'd pick the Gemini though, that is a seriously good rta.

Well, OK, I have an Aura mini with a mouthpiece shaped like a pipe stem and a 0.33-Ohm coil that pretty much forces direct-lung hits, but I, personally, find that I get less flavor that way. I am perfectly content with a nice long suck on my little Protanks, so why change what works? Besides, then I can blame Lannie for all these huge flavor invoices because she uses 10 times as much juice as me. I am not into competing for clouds.

I was the same way Fuzzy, the first 9 months of my vaping journey I only vaped CE5's and protanks. Then I tried a Kayfun and there was no turning back. The flavor was so thick that the protanks and CE5's just wouldnt satisfy anymore. A week or two later I tried my first Subtank Mini and all bets was off. I was instantly a lung hitter where the 40 years I smoked it was always MTL and the first 9 months of vaping was the same way.
I still have maybe 30 ego batteries, a couple spinner II's and around 50 new never used CE5's put up and those I use as gift packs for new vaporer's to help them get started. I will try them occassionally like when I am setting up some one with gear and i always wonder how I could of been satisfied vaping them. Now I can hardly tell any taste from one of them.

But, if y'all wanted we could make a whompers thread, or whatever we wanted to call it in the lounge. That way we could talk all the non vape stuff we wanted, but still talk vape when we want. What do y'all think about that???

I tried Lannie's iSub tanks. I tried a Herecles and a Triton (and gave them to Lannie immediately). Sorry... don't like 'em at all. Anything I have tried to do direct lung hits with, I get no flavor. I am sure that is just my tongue yelling, "Hey! Hold that stuff here long enough for these antique buds to sense it!" When I do MTL, however, the process is about 6-10 seconds (the fire button being ON only for half that) and my tongue is happy that way. One or 1.5 second hits do absolutely nothing for me. Oh well...

So I was bored today and decided to watch some random youtube vids. Googled glass etching and said I have the tools to do that. Why not?? So here's my first attempt. It's the tank of one of my subtank plus. It's the NY Mets Logo. I don't know it doesn't look too bad. Maybe if I keep doing more I'll get better!

I completely understand. I have tried just about everything in the last almost seven years. Even Bacon Campfire eliquid....
(Tasted like bacon that fell in the ashes. Company's used to make joke e-liquids)

Direct lung Vaping does nothing for me. Heck, I've won cloud comps, I can chuckith mahoosive cloudage but without a nice throat hit and concentrated nic I don't see the point.

Edit: That said I do have high VG low nic eliquid that I use to test the coils I design. That way I know they will work for anyone who may want to try them.

me too cept about a 4 second. Get about the same amt of vapor as when I smoked, which is plenty for me. I want throat hit and flavor, but got no use for huge clouds.

Yes roll the vapor around like fine coffee or scotch and exhale slowly, perhaps blow some through the nasal cavity too. I sometimes shallow inhale the last bit of vapor. All I have read suggests that we absorb most nic from vapor in the mouth and nasal cavity.

I have observed that flavors and nic add a harsh edge to vapor.
Some flavors are worse, cherry for example.
I vape very low flavor percentages, 1% to 3%
I think they taste better, are smoother and I never get vaper's tongue.

Perhaps try your SIL with 80% VG, lowish flavor percentage and perhaps lower nic. FWIW I vape 8 mg/ml
