all y'all, but good effort!! hehehe Hope her work does calm down soon we miss her! When are they voting and what on exactly? I know you said before about a law or something that was proposed.

Wow........irony?? What's that. Colonists left England cuz we didn't have a say in nuttin..... now we get crappy vape laws shoved down our throat with no say so....... y'all get to vote
Actually we left England because a couple very rich landowners (like Washington) wanted to be even richer. It had nada to do with representation.

Most "history" is fiction.

Yep If I recall we were even forbidden from making ships to enter into foreign commerce.
Fiction? Propaganda?

If the Tea Party happened today it would likely be called an act of terrorism.

And I think only 2 juice companies or so can sell juice in Indiana after July 1 as well.
Six right now, but a couple of them aren't even making anything yet, and I think a couple of them are affiliated with an outfit that lobbied for the law that screwed Indiana. Regardless, it is all gas station junk juice.

Hey, guys! I know I've been MIA all day, but man, things are crazy here. I did have a question though. I wrote to FT about the Goblin mini deck and the screws not staying in because the holes are too big, and they want a picture. I already said a picture would not show that the holes are too big, but I guess that's standard procedure to ask for a picture. So I was upstairs a little while ago taking pictures of a perfectly normal looking build deck, but while I had my toolbox out, I decided to see if I could switch those perfect little coils I made to the other Goblin mini deck, AND I DID. It wasn't even hard! So, I want that "Coil Queen" title, or whatever it was Deb said I'd earn if I managed it.

HOWEVER, and here comes the strange part, and the question. I got the old coils in the new deck and put it on the ohm reader, and it read .39 ohms. (It was originally .50 on the other deck with the loose screws, but it jumped all over the place every time the deck got jiggled or touched because the screws were loose.) I thought the .39 was a little weird, but whatever. I unscrewed it from the ohm reader, and realized one of the coils was a little slanted, so I stuck the mandrel in there to straighten it and IT CAME LOOSE. ALL the screws on that one were loose, and I'd already checked them without coils installed to make sure the screws held, and they did. But with the wires in the holes, they don't. Either one of them. I screwed them down again, put it back on the reader, and it was then reading .24 ohms. Took it back off, put the chimney on, put it back on the reader, and it was .17 ohms. Left it on the reader, got my little screwdriver and tried tightening the screws down again with the chimney on, and it went down to .11 or .13 ohms. (I took a couple of pictures, with the readings showing on the reader thing, I'm not sure if I'm remembering all the numbers correctly...)

Anyway, neither of the decks will hold coil legs. Does anyone have any idea why they wouldn't? Am I STILL doing something wrong? I took the dang coils out and garbaged 'em, and without wires in the holes, both decks' screws tighten down fine and stay tight. But only if there's no wire in them! What's the deal? Not that I have a great deal of experience yet, but of all the decks I've so far built coils for, this has never happened. Is it the bottom surface of the screw that's inadequate or something? I'm at a total loss here, and at this point, I don't know if I should demand a refund from FT or just throw these in the garbage. I'd love some advice! Thanks!

Sorry. 26g, 9 or 10 wraps, 2mm diameter. Two each. (But now they're in the garbage...)
26 should be fine, I was just considering that if the wire was too small maybe the screws weren't able to hold it properly. But I can't see that being a problem with 26.

Is it even remotely possible that the wire was too big, and the screws couldn't "squish" it properly? I don't even know if they do that, so I could be talking out my um, HAT!

I don't think so? I'm far from an expert though. I've seen people talk about screws not holding thin wire before, I don't recall seeing issues with thicker wire though.

Well, hellz bellz, then I don't know what it could be. If I send these back and FT screws the screws in without wire, they're going to say they're perfectly fine. I guess I'll just send them a picture of the deck (lot of good THAT will do), and see what happens. I'll also update my "complaint" with that new information, and tell them it's both decks, not just the one. I'll just have to roll with the punches.

Right now, I gotta roll on up the stairs and get some dinner in me. I be STARVING! LOL! See you all (ooops, I mean ALL Y'ALLS) later! ;)

RX75 looks nice. Won't hold anything bigger than a 22mm, but I like the design. I'll take either of these 2 colors.

Yah, looking at the Tiffany Blue. I have a bunch of narrower tanks, so that won't be hideous.

    VapeNW has 'em for $30
