Good grief! Now we have to decide which is the better whacker: Deb's frying pan or Retired1's Garfield sign.
Maybe some people just don't know the difference between possessive and plural...
I dunno, I think Rixy might have me just about talked into this mod. He was carryin' his around in his pocket and said it never fired (says you have to press a little harder than an incidental touch), but we don't know for sure if he KNEW it was firing or not. How long had he been celebrating when he told me that? (I'm just kiddin' with you, Rixy, you know we all love you!
)I got most of my flavors today that I recently ordered, too, and now they're all jammed into a cardboard box. My toolbox that was intended to hold all (meaning ALL) my flavors started overflowing a while back. I'ma need Rich to build another room on the house just to store my DIY supples.
Deb sent me a couple little samples, too, bless her heart!
She sent me some lychee flavoring (please tell me it doesn't TASTE the same way it smells), and some catalan cream, which smells NICE. I'd been wanting to try those, so THANKS, Ms. Deb! (Can I say that? Or is it against the rules?)
I still have some FA flavors coming that should be here Tuesday, if all goes well with the post office. And I just ordered more bottles today.

Yeah, we know yer uncorrigated, but there is a Cure and I'm vaping it right now (that one Nicoticket sells - can I say that on this thread?). Well, The Cure was a tad bland, so I poured a touch of strawberry in it and it's curing all my ailments (or so my demented mind believes). Vape yum yum vape vape... where wuz I? If I put in dual coils.....26g ss316 .5 target resistance..... 2.5mm ID and it tells me 16 wraps.....
does that mean 8 wraps on each coil???
also with that wire, would there be a better build to hit duals around .5 ?

Best to just set it up for a single 1 ohm coil. Two 1 ohm coils in parallel = 0.5 ohms.
Edit: yes that would be 16 wraps per coil.

trying to figure out what size(s) wire to get. I need a single coil build for the merlin...... and need a dual coil build for the derringer clone
What resistance do you want to run your Merlin at? I just bought a bunch of 28g 316L to make it easier to wrap a higher resistance. That is, until I decided to play with my power drill I had out for some work around the house, and decided to see if I could make a simple twisted coil. It worked! I couldn't believe it. I ended up with some nice ~10 inch straight lengths of twisted coil I may never use, but pleased I could make them.
I don't want to do twisted. I want .5 ish I think for both of them. Don't want to buy wire I don't need, but dunno if 26 would be better or 28 or if I need some of each. I want .5 for a single, and .5 net for duals
