Hey y'all........gotta question. I have a cuboid 150w that I won awhile back......... will the Samsung 30Q's work well in this? Mooch really likes these batts, and Illumn has em for 4.95 I think they will, but want someone a little more quick on the draw than me to check please, and make sure I'm not missing something. Thanks

ETA: I know you need a married pair, but this is the first time I'd be using a double batt mod. Do you need to alternate which position they're in after each charge, or does that matter?

Joytech recommends the Sony VTC4 which according to Mooch's rating is a 30amp cell. With that said I use Sony VTC5's and LG HG2's in my cuboid. Both of these are rated at 20 amps. I have had no problems. The samsung 30Q's are rated according to Mooch at 15 amps. So I don't really know what to tell you. I know at least 20 amp batteries work fine. Hope this helps Deb.

doo doo browns for me.

Mooch rated the 30Q at 20 amps but it is a bit hot there. Should work fine unless you are going over 120 watts or so much.
yeah I've 6 of the doo doo ones. lol most I've vaped so far is 30 watts. But ya never know what I might do in the future!! hehehe

obviously I'm not a batt expert by any means.......but mooch has a couple on his chart that I have enough to get two of.... lg hb 2 and lg hb 6 but 30 amp and only 1500 mah just dont sound right, but maybe it does........ the more amps it pulls the less mah it would have????

Yep the higher CDR/Amps out from a battery the less actual capacity it has.
Why there is NO 30 amp 3000 mah battery yet.

ok, well I can just barely get two VTC4's at RTD with their coupon code JULY4 so I may do that. That's what they recommend and they're cheaper than the hg2s
The Samsung 30Qs are rated at 20A by Mooch, pretty sure I read that it is very close to the LG HG2s. I highly doubt you will be running a high enough Wattage Constant to wear those batteries out.

The Sony VTC4s are actually more of a 25A CDR 18650, but runs cool enough that it can pretty much be used at 30A without much wear, so you have the best wiggle room with those at high wattage.

LG HD2s, I dont remember the Amp rating, I know its atleast 20A but the newer HD2C's Mooch first rated them at 25A CDR but recently changed it to 22A CDR as he did some math wrong at first. These are almost as good as a VTC4, but not quite.

LG HB4s are best for Mechs, I would not run them in a regulated unless I was pushing 200W or more all day lol

That said, LG HG2s or Samsung 30Qs will work just fine in the Cuboid. I run LG HE4s and VTC4s in mine. Iv been meaning to grab some Samsung 30Qs to try out...

TC wont effect the batteries, some people claim they get better battery life using TC but iv never really done a real test on that myself.. :D:thumb:

What Wattages are you going to run in Power mode?

wow darlin, you gotta quit doin this to yourself all the time

that's just it, I dunno. Just wanna make sure I'm safe no matter what I do. I just went down to .5 ohms with this SS wire, which on my mech with a full batt is only 30 watts. But I dunno what y'all (rixy) might talk me into

Rixy vapes around 90W I believe, the LG HG2s and Samsung 30Qs should be just fine around that power. Its always good to have some Married VTC4s to use though just incase.. ;)
