Have you accounted for that discrepancy?I can say without a doubt that coil efficiency is directly linked to mass in a round coil. Twisted, wrapped, fused, does not matter one bit.
While I was entering the gathered numbers into the graph program I remembered that I had done a modeled estimate for the triple twisted 28 yesterday. So I dug up that graph...

Descrepancy?Have you accounted for that discrepancy?
Who says I'm doneBut this thread wouldn't be the same without you, great tests.
Boden is doing the same thing for Vapers as Battery Mooch. Just in a different area. But this thread wouldn't be the same without you, great tests.
You could miss entire solar systems with that level of error.Descrepancy?
Oh, the diference between my estimate and reality. I only estimated to the thousandths place.
I just redid the estimate to the millionth place and my model is actually off by 0.0004. Close enough for rocket science![]()
Actually I love peer review. That said there would only be a tiny difference between the 14 wrap parallel 28ga I already did and a 9 wrap triple parallel.(28 vs 27 total wraps). The only sizable difference would be the resistance of the coils.A 30g triple parallel vs. a 28g triple parallel might be nice for a true apples to apples comparison (don't you hate peer review?)
At least it wasn't me who forgot to convert feet to meters. You could miss entire solar systems with that level of error.
Converting feet to meters is a painful process. At least it wasn't me who forgot to convert feet to meters.![]()
CNN - Metric mishap caused loss of NASA orbiter - September 30, 1999I missed that comparison.
Quite rightConverting feet to meters is a painful process.
The VT133 is excellent, Congrats!Been using the Vt133 I received on Tuesday. I'm really enjoying it. I was very down on DNA boards since the whole 40 fiasco! I had to replace 4 of them due to all the glitches when they rushed them out. I was not a very happy camper! I've waited long enough to see how these DNA200 boards perform and finally ordered one. I bought the VT133 because I can swap out the batts and not have to wait for the lipos to charge. Getting pretty good life out of it with the LGHG2 brownies. Only 4 batts a day so far!
I have to say I also wasn't impressed by the VT when it first came out. All the reviews I saw the build quality looked like garbage. Well they've improved on it a lot. This thing is very well made and finished all around. The battery cover is still a little annoying but nothing a squeeze won't fix.
Definitely enjoying the Escribe software as well. I've only fiddled with it but I'm looking forward to really seeing what I can do it. I love how you can customize any build you put on your atty. Right now I have the Boreas on it. The build is Dual coil 24ga SS36L wire 14 wrap 4mm ID reading at .37 ohms. Vaping it at 55 watts and 450 degrees. Nice thick, dense clouds and very good flavor!
Very Happy with the DNA boards again and will purchase a couple for some custom mod builds!
