I just saw the blue in stock at MVS and it looks nice. Did you get it as a kit with their tank (forgot what they offered) or the travel kit version? I thought the travel kit was not necessary, but there was no other option for the mod only, but found it actually was handy for travel.
With these tanks Lannie suggested:

I'm going to run these builds at 50W and put 2mL of 70% vg through using 4 second puffs.

66W was just too hot with this reduced surface area.
Should work fine since these tests are not linkable to the other set of tests you ran.

With the boards they make now it is a complete doddle to build a mod. For 45$ and some time you can build a DNA75 mod.
That's what I'm thinking. When I was in school (early 80's) I had to design an rs232, etch the board, drill the holes, solder in the components and write hex code to make the 8088 pc interface with the dm printer. Time is just my concern. Summer is way busy for me but I think I'll start purchasing the components now so when fall hits I can just play.

Looks nice. Are you getting the RBA kit with it?

As for building your own, the kits available today remind me of the Heatkit years. Those were fun.
I still have a Heathkit Motor speed control and an oscilliscope kit. Both still work.

Since I can't find a way to logically connect this test to the previous these two builds will be a standalone.
