Well my Lux limitless made a popping noise, there was smell of burnt solder and wire and now it doesn't work. Bummer but I've had a good run with vape gear lately. It's going back for a full refund and I will find a new home for my modfather rta.
I am not here to bad name the company, even with its flaws, I did like it but now I simple cannot trust using this device, replacement is out of the question for me.
Let's go find the father a new ohm.....

Whelp, answered my question. Thank you for acting as the early adopter!
Now, where are you going to find a regulated mod that looks OK with a 30 mm 15 ml tank on it? (BTW, given the size, do they at least include a 30 ml bottle of juice to lighten the financial burden of filling it?)
imho the LUX was the result of someone trying to get a low cost mod out before the 8-8-2016 US deadline.Well my Lux limitless made a popping noise, there was smell of burnt solder and wire and now it doesn't work. Yes, exactly..imho the LUX was the result of someone trying to get a low cost mod out before the 8-8-2016 US deadline.
well that stinksAnd the biggest one which I just found out myself, the whole screen resets when you pull the batteries out, that's including 18650's too, all previous TC settings, screen direction, everything is reset.. Doesn't affect me as Im in power mode, it does keep your wattage though which is something.
and that stinks even more!!Well my Lux limitless made a popping noise, there was smell of burnt solder and wire and now it doesn't work. Bummer but I've had a good run with vape gear lately. It's going back for a full refund
Got a new home for my Modfather RTA, right place, right time and I'm lucky enough to know some cool people in the industry. Got a Boxer DNA 166w V2 coming, now the boxer mods are expensive, you either love them or hate them, we love them, (I have a bit of history surrounding these mods, they are very durable ), Emma got one a few months back (red of course) and that's all shes used, I mean, she won't even use her lavabox now because of the weight. No idea why I didn't think of this in the first place, they are nice and light which is needed with this Modfather, as it weighs in at 123g, yup, it's heavy !!!!
This is no brainer really, reliable DNA board, dual 18650, nice and light which will help with this heavy tank and no overhang.....Plus I only paid for the board
I do have to build it myself though but I'm an RC guy and at least I know it will be built to a high standard, going to throw a fat daddy black chrome 510 on there..![]()
Sweet. That's the new DNA 250 with 2 18650s'. Congrats on getting one right on release. Boxer offers that in either kit or assembled, right? Don't know what the new one looks like, but if it's the same aesthetic, it should work great with that tank. I've never handled a Boxer, seen photos only. It gives he impression that it somehow has a soft cushion on it. Is that it, or just a powdered metal that sorta looks that way?
The cases are 3D printed? So it's a resin of some sort?
If we're talking one of these. It's nylon plastic according to the description.

I was gonna suggest a DNA 250 lol![]()
Much stronger than plain old 3D printed...I believe they are 3D printed.
That the one, just mine has a 18650 battery sled....They are super light and super tough, Emma's still looks brand new and that's saying summat..If we're talking one of these. It's nylon plastic according to the description.

They are but it's subjective, there is no in between with these, ya love em or hate em.. I will probably put a sleeve on mine, their sleeves are the only ones I know that don't attract dust, they look good too.Yup. That's what I meant. Nice looking mods.
wow......that's as heavy or heavier than some mods. That mod sure looks durable! Hope you have a fun time building it and no issues!they are nice and light which is needed with this Modfather, as it weighs in at 123g, yup, it's heavy !!!!
