The hidden Provari files Par Deux

The P3 was clearly a flop for a reason. It offers no advantage to turtle fluffers and is a nitemere between 15-20 wa. That Merlin with .9 28ga parallel was a PERFECT build for that tank at low power. With more power it shines best with a clapton at 35w but I digress......... I put that Merlin with the .9 on a Cuboid Mini at 20w and my goodness was it a sweet build. But the Provari seems to read battery volts and drop power left and right. This seems ......ed to us that take using good batteries for granted but when you factor in Provari targeted 70 year olds that would pop in a AW 18350 I guess I can see why they took all the risk out. So its pretty much unuseable in the 15-20 range. Which means its basically a 2.5. Which means its worthless to me. Which is kinda a shame as I sorta liked it. But having it misfire all the time until I lower the wattage gets old real fast. Also when it reads dead battery my charger shows .3.95. I was wondering why it just seemed to eat batteries now I know.

Not sure but here's someone's pic, similar wire on the negative.

Now that I'm thinking about it, one issue with the terminator/smokeless owl was the way the button is designed you're pushing the button down to bring the metal ring on the button down to make contact with the other ring, and you often didn't get good contact.

Hard to tell from the pic, no scale and that, but looks like it might be 16. If so, good for around 20 amps. If you can get a good measurement of the copper, check a chart like this:

American Wire Gauge table and AWG Electrical Current Load Limits with skin depth frequencies and wire breaking strength

Scroll down to the chart, you're interested first in the diameter, to get the gauge, then the amps for chassis use.

@coolerat I don't have a Provi of any ilk, but I've read that often cleaning all the contacts you can get to clears up the erratic readings. Worth a shot?

Someone else had guessed 20g I think on the wire, but I never took mine apart. If I were still using it, I might try to improve it or figure out what it could handle. I never had any issues with the button getting hot, just misfires. That was my "I can't afford a REO but I really want one and I really want to start squonking" mod.

I am looking real hard at this puppy right now LOL god help me someone sent me to fasttech. $170 in the cart now :p

$22.59 Terminator 18650 Drip Nebulizer Vaporizer Kit - 10ml / 1*18650 / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I'm going to chime in on this. I got one of these, and Lessifer is right - the atty sux, and the firing button is marginal at best. However, it was my foray into squonking. Now I have a Reo VV (gifted to me from another ECF member), a couple of original Kanger Dripboxes and a couple of Dripbox 160s. Personally, I reach for the Dripbox 160 before any of the others. If I want something a bit smaller, I reach for the original dripbox.

I'm around, but I don't get much new gear. That being said, I did just pick up a frankenskull bf mod clone, and a coppervapes bf mod and an o-atty clone.
Love the Coppervape, have 3 aluminum and 1 brass. That brass one is a brick! Have the Franken-clone on my FT wishlist.

Where'd everybody go? Anybody have thoughts on the Goblin Mini v3?
I replied you on the other place. ;)

It's a good little tank that is much improved over the V2. The extension tank is a must have IMHO unless you want a small setup or like to change juice often.

I like them both, although I don't like that my RM8 and RM2 won't work in either mod, their 510 threads aren't long enough to make a connection.

I went full dripper awhile back. It always was where my heart was.

Had a dream squonker in mind and had to wait for somebody to make it. RX200 shape, 2 batteries, DNA chip..................

Enter the LV Drone. Its everything I wanted all along. I rarely use anything but the Drone outside the home and a Hexohm at home.

    Vaping made perfect.

Can't find the Geekvape S100 squonker anywhere, one needs a utility squonker too...

    I just love the Peerless!
The V-RDA is great, the Origen 16 not so much. The DB2 has a Stumpy on it currently.

Yeah can't get no flavor out of them little RDA's which is to bad as I like the Chalice III.

I had a BF Sapor that was EXCELLANT but it got loaned out and never came home.

Usng a Halcyon currently and its really good but not as good as a 13H9H or Troll V2. Not a fan of the Velocity but I have a BF pin and may try and BF a Troll.

I had two problems with the frank, first, my odis which sits slightly above flush on the coppervape just barely makes contact on the frank. Second, I like being able to lock the fire button. I rigged an insert I could put in to prevent firing, but not as convenient as an actual locking button.
