I did convert the Dovpo GX200 into a squonker and I just need to cut a hole in the side panel to finish it. Since it's a pseudo mechanical mod I'm finding it really hard to put a build into an rda that works for me. I will fire down to 0.2 ohms and has a 20A limit on the chip. I think the big problem is I am using 24g SS430. The resistance climbs while the coil heats is going from 0.2 ohms to 0.3ohms. This will cause the GX200 to loose 30W throughout the vape. I'll have to dig out some Kanthal to try.

What builds do you run int your CV's?

In my Boxer clones I use 28ga kanthal parallels.

My normal build is 24ga and this makes a nice cool vape. But a mech takes for ever to warm up 24ga.

Both ohm out at about .3Ω.

Just be warned that 28ga is hot as piss. If you like a lung seering vape your in like Flint. If you don't you have to kinda learn to get the air moving first.

Yeah, much of it is pricey, but some of it is beautiful.
As for builds, I keep it simple. In general 28ga SS316, aiming for anywhere from .25 to .5ohms depending on the RDA. Just basic spaced coils.

So the Serpent SMM landed. What a nice tank. Building and wicking is dead simple, and the flavor is fantastic. Nice warm, smooth vape. I'd put it up there with a dual coil Engine. And it's a nice low profile for the volume held (~4.5 ml). I even like the DT it comes with.

And sitting on my Therion for now. It definitely needs a place to live for daily rotation.

But the price is pretty high. Nearly 300 bones.

Don't you Europeans pay some insane tax that is removed when shipped to the US?? I know some places to this during check out.

Right now I'm back and forth between a Boxer and a Wraith. In terms of ohms they are equal. In terms of vape quiality the Wraith is much smoother.

But mechs are fun.

I'm waiting on a 20700 mech that should allow me to build a mech sqonker for a better vape and longer life and maybe step away from the amp problem.

Ripped out the Smok coils in the TFV12 RBA and put my own in, words cannot describe the amount of vapor this tank now produces, it is beyond silly, wicking great though, keeping up at 140w and no leaking.......like most seem to bang on about, this tank doesn't leak but boy do you have to wick this thing perfect.

I've yet to try the triple deck, the dual is bad enough

Made some Alien hybrids, ow, nice



Half a tank gone already , the Boreas sips juice compared to this beast........in fact so does the modfather.

After whacking on a Goon kept wet from below all day these days a TFV8 has the flavor(lack of) of a Kayfun.

I would have been seriously disappointed in the vape quality from it, nothing to do with the performance of the mech mod. I just like a vape that's Hot and Gre-he-hesy.

The iJoy 20700's don't last much longer than a pair of 25R's in the Captain PD270. The Sanyo 20700B's have great runtime, but are only rated at 16A CDR by mooch. There are no Sanyo 20700A's to be found anywhere and 21700's are very much non existent.

The Inbox w/Pulse and Drone W/Velocity Mini are my EDC squonkers, and I'll have to pick up one of those Boxer clones just to tinker with...

Meh, it's happened again, put the TFV12 away, too much for me these days, back on the Serpent SMM, perfect vape for me, just more satisfying, nice long inhales, such great flavor, it's all I seem to wanna vape on.

Im thinking of getting a DNA75C for it, dual battery, that would be a nice setup there, never going to need more than 75w for that tank.
