Not a whole lot is exciting me these days. I get a bit of a tweak when I see something new, but it fades pretty quick. Did for some reason pre-order a GeekVape Zeus RTA. I don't even check out many reviews anymore. If I do look one up I forward to deck and that's it.

All the notable (to me) innovation is coming from refinements right now, which is a tough thing to make exciting. I'm in a weird place with shinyitis because of it though. I'm actively sourcing an all ultem Octopus (fell completely head over heels with my ABS one) and the Entheon will be obtainable to me this week most likely. Both of these are merely upgrades, but they constitute significant expense for what should be real improvements in several areas.

I'm not moving from Toyotas to Porsches anymore, I'm going from Carreras to GT3 RS's. Still fun, less astounding.

PC tech slowdown would have probably made for a better analogy. Meh.

And yeah, how you healing up, Rixsta?

Have you looked into the Ultem BAM or Ultem Peon?

The BAM is a spectacular mod, but regulated and therefore unwanted. As for the Peon, yes, absolutely. But, I'm in love with the Octo510 and want to stick with it if I'm gonna spring big dough for a high end Ultem item.

All good, I'd love to have a Utlem BAM and I drool over every one I see. :w00t:

WAF is in the negative on those. ;)

There's been a load of quality stuff released and the marginal developments are simply providing less and less improvement. Which in some ways is nice. Now it's a chance for refinement and an opportunity to really compare new products against "proven" designs and assess whether or not there's real value to a change. At least now when I do get something new I have some idea what it will offer that's better, and if it doesn't live up to it I still have plenty of well performing stuff to keep me happily vaping.

To me it's just a waste of money and unnecessary, there's much more fun things to do with money these days.

It's more difficult for me now I have the Aromamizer Plus working absolutely perfect for me so that limits the choice further being a 30mm tank and most mods only take a 25mm.

Then there's the fact I don't use temp control, the Sigelei duo paired with the AP is all I need. I still browse through the vape stuff but for now, there's nothing out there.

P.S. How are you feeling Rixsta?
I'm really good thanks, waiting to pick up my girl rats from a rescue home, being spending my vape budget on their home, it's from floor to ceiling and not cheap to kit out. I'll take a picture so you can have a dam good laugh lol. There's a lot of bad vibes towards rats based on ignorance and a lack of knowledge, they make amazing pets, very clean, smart and lovable little things :)

Not been about much as in my vape world at the moment, there is just nothing to buy, nothing that has come out has any appeal to me
You don't have to talk about new stuff, just talk to us about whatever. I know we need to keep this mostly vape related, but maybe we need to restart the womper lounge! It's good when everything works so great that you don't need to buy more. I recently sold some stuff, but for vaping, only bought some squonk bottles and some battery cases. Need to get a couple flavorings, but spent most of it on stuff to make life a lil easier for me. Pillow back rest, handheld shower etc. Most of the rest will go for stamping stuff. :)

Blue light, by the way, has been proven to impede the sleep process. If you turn those off at night, they'll probably be OK, but if you want lights on all the time, use RED because it aids in sleep.

So, red light districts and blue light specials are a bit backwards. Is that what you're saying?

Well, not perzactly... red lights help you sleep (does that count helping you to get into bed?) ;) and blue lights keep the brain active, so perhaps it would help you understand that blue light specials are rarely a real bargain. :D I have often wondered why, if the shrinks know so much about lighting issues, why so many of those LED alarm clocks shine blue light all over your bedroom, making you have less calm sleep and us silly astronomers, who need to be attentive, use red lights (Zzzzz) just so we do not adversely affect our night vision. Oh well...

I have a brisket cookin'. Hardly vape related, but still damn noteworthy. Now where's the BBQ flavoured e-liquid?
oh that sounds sooooo good. Us Texans love our brisket, and I haven't had one for quite awhile!
