Part 6 is....SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!.....as usual.

Cliff, "outstanding" is another word I like very much (especially when it is solid capped and in bold). Thank you!

I did not read thru all 12 pages of this comment thread, so I apologize if this has been asked and answered before...

Is there a PDF version of the Guide available? I know some of the videos would have to be left out (or referenced by link only), but I'd like to be able to print it for those not willing (or able) to go online...

Just a thought...

-bogie

Bogie, reading every single page of the WWV guide itself is an absolute requirement:rolleyes: ... but it is unreasonable to expect someone to read every page of this thread before posting. Actually that question has been asked before and I am flattered by it. The answer, however, is: no. I provided my reasons for this in post #95 here.

And, as I mentioned there, don't hesitate to print any portions to share with a limited group of friends. [Do you have that many friends who don't have access to the Internet?]

I have to say, your guide made my life (going into, starting, and even continuing) vaping so much easier. Extremely informative and worded so well that it feels more like you're talking to someone rather than reading a guide. When I was trying to help out my roommate's girlfriend get info for her parents hopefully making the switch, I gave her the link to the guide. Like you, I ended up writing a massive amount of info, in fact, I would have probably done the same thing if you hadn't first.

Thanks for everything, part 6 was well worth the wait!

Thank you very much, umop! I especially like the part about "talking to someone."

In my life outside of vaping (occasionally I make a little room for that other life), I am a management trainer and speaker. The past couple years (as clients have become fewer and further between), I've been doing more and more writing (two non-fiction books published thus far).* I both unconsciously and deliberately write the way I speak. [And, yes, I use a lot of parenthetical expressions in my speaking as well.]

* Guess what I want the topic for my third book to be.:D

As for "I would have probably done the same thing if you hadn't first." - yeah, but would you have sung the same songs?;)

Absolutely phenomenal read. As a super-noob to the whole E-cig phenom (just learned about its existence earlier today!), this 6 part series has been the best thing ive read thus far. It truly answered many many questions I had that I just wasnt finding answers to in other threads found in the newbie forum.

The illustrations were superb for really helping me grasp the physical functioning of E-cigs and much much more. I cant thank you enough for putting this together, and much thanks to everyone whose own content and creations were featured in the 6 part series. A beautiful collaboration of the communities work!

5 stars, two thumbs up, and a pat on the back!

Thank you so much, NanoVapor, for all your words of praise! Please bear in mind that - more than anything else - my WWV guide is a "Readers Digest" version of ECF. For example, every photo and video was extracted either from here or other similar sources. I'll take credit as an anthology editor (and as a singer of songs, of course:D).

You "just learned about [e-cigs'] existence earlier today"? You are a "super-noob"! More significant, however, is what you've done with those very few hours. I hope you will continue to post on ECF ... and don't hesititate to ask questions! That's how we all have learned about vaping.

BTW, you are not limited to reading "other threads found in the newbie forum." You can read any post ... and you can post your own reply in virtually any thread. The only restriction until your reach 15 posts, is you can start threads only in the New Member's forum.

Welcome, NanoVaper!

Thanks for the welcome bud :) I hope to be a longtime member here, already a donator ;)

As a forum guru on various topics and their respective discussion boards, im always telling people to search the board and read for 72 hours before they ask anything, as the answers are always there to 99% of questions. It wouldve been far to hypocritical of me to not apply the same to my particular avenues of personal interest.

Ive smoked for 11 years, its done some bad damage to my gums (receeding them), I can only imagine my lungs. This offers me hope ive never had before for kicking cigarettes. My goal is to eventually get off the nic'd e-liquid and forever thereafter roll through the unsettled vapors of flavor country till the end of time. Also got a great business idea within this burgeoning grassroots market I may very well pursue, NanoVapor may wind up being more than just a username ;)

Im waiting for my starter gear, a Joye 510, its enroute, and my e-liquid, and some of those e-dobits (oh my god that product seems so ingenius to me I can almost guarantee im going to love it).

I also feel the very concept of the E-cig is what ive always needed to kick my habit, and if it works for me, ill definetly write my local politicians ranting and raving, its the least I could do for something that may very well literally save my life.

Hopes a beautiful thing.

Thanks, Alfred (I mean Robert)! I also smoked for 40 years ... and now have been vaping for about six months. Amazingly, it keeps getting more wonderful.

I also started with the KR808D-1 (CigEasy and Mist-Stix). I recently discovered GreenCig carts: quite wonderful. Buy a few and screw them on your KR808-1 batteries to try out. I don't believe V4L carries them anymore, but NHaler does.

What, me worry?

I just spent the last 5 hrs reading your excellent WWV guide! I learned alot about PV and I plan on picking up my second unit as soon as I can fin one. Thanks for taking the time to write that.

Thank you, J! Writing about something you love is an end in itself ... but when it is completed, it sure is nice to hear from appreciative readers.:)

How about some sharing? What was your first PV and what are you considering for your second?

I heard about these e-cigs awhile back, like a year ago, but never thought anything about it. Well just the other night I got to thinking about it. As you know analog cigs are about 4-5 bucks a pack and I'm getting quite tired of paying that much. So, I called my local cigar shop to see if they had e-cigs and they had 1 model. I jumped in the car and went up there a bought it. Its called Elektro, the down side is that it uses non-refillable cartomizers. So I got online did a little, well actually alot of research on the e-cigs and I'm going to try the Joye510 now. I wish I could have waited, but you know how that goes. I just ordered 3 more kit from a vendor here and about 10 diffrent liquids, attys, carts, ect. Looking foward to getting that package in the mail. I cant wait.

That certainly explains the mastery in your writing! I'm glad ECF has a member like you. Two non-fiction books published so far? Impressive. The third can't be about PVs, can it?

I can't say what I would have written would have been anywhere near as complete or as skillfully written (even though I wish i could). Not too sure about the same songs, that's definitely a personal aspect to it. ;)

Thank you, umop apisdn*, for those very kind words! And good guess! [We'll see if that intention ever becomes actualized. My agent wasn't very interested in the idea.:(]

* I would love to see your post in my Screen names: How did you come up with yours? thread.:D

wow.. okay, this needs to somehow appear at the absolute TOP of the list for reading material of anyone looking into vaping! This was so thorough, informative, entertaining and contains such amazing and wonderful resource material!!! The pictures help immeasurably! I kept reading about an "exposed bridge", well, DSE 901 (my only experience with a PV) doesn't have one so I didn't know what I was even looking for! Many things have been cleared up from this post! Also, some of it may be opinion - but also contains factual information. Thanks!

Now we just need one that lists all the suppliers (location, service, speed of orders, owners names and abreviations of their company name, etc) Looking for somewhere to buy juice from is as tedious and vast as researching vapors in general!!!

There really should be an emoticon for a swelled head, because you just gave me one, jes1dering!:D Thank you very much!

There is such a list; it's called the Sponsoring Suppliers. It even has their banners and links to both their websites and ECF forum. For evaluations of them, see the Electronic Cigarette Reviews forums and posts within each supplier's forum.

And I did take a stab at recommending suppliers based on one criterion: cost ... as well as who carries what. For juice, reread Part 3, the second half of Part 5, and the middle of Part 6.

Thanks again for your words of praise!

It really is a terrific resource - I've passed it on to a number of folks who were curious about e-cigs. Excellent work!!

Thank you, pianoguy! It's nice to take a break, sit back and rest a bit on laurels like "terrific" and "excellent.":D Even more than that, I appreciate your using it - as a resource and to entice others into our wonderful world. I am content.:)

He always vapes while others smoke
He acts while other men just joke
He looks at this world and contemplates
And he strikes like DonDaBoomVape

He knows the meaning of success
His needs are more so he writes less
They call him the winner who does not hate
So he strikes like DonDaBoomVape

Any e-cigarette he wants he'll get
He will break some attys without regret
His days of smoking are all gone
His fight goes on and on and on
But he thinks that the fight is not to late
So he writes like DonDaBoomVapeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
