It's ergonomically superior. with most people the button falls right under the pinky, making it more comfortable to press, also it's a stronger design with with less parts.

While it may be more comfortable for some, unfortunately I am a weird exception. I have freakishly short bones in my pinkies so I can't reach the button comfortably. Doesn't mean I won't buy one, I'll just have to hold it a little further down and use my ring finger. Since my ex-wife got all the rings in the divorce there is nothing to get in the way.

I have the short little fingers too ... the bottom switch does suck to push as I have no strength in my little fingers .... so I push with my ring finger

But I think the switch is going to be on the side bottom ?? and I love that button placement

I got some very bad news today about the XHALER...The springs are wrong and will have to be sent back for replacement...This will surely add another 3 or 4 days minimum to release date...I am absolutley sick over this...I apologise to everyone that has been waiting and assure you I am doing EVERYTHING I can to get this unit on sale...Sorry and I will continue to make posts and will be unvailing the available colors and pictures of the body on or before Friday...
