Could be a bit tricky, but I've been thinking about cutting or de-soldering the switches from the board. Wouldn't really want to have to open the mod to push buttons, and don't want the aggravation of trying to make and fit/secure shaft extensions for the switches. Anybody have any other thoughts about the switches?

I figure they will go pretty quickly as well, if they are gone before I makeup my mind on the issue, guess it wasn't meant to be.

Looks like a viable board for those who want a variable voltage mod but the onboard buttons really are an issue to design around. Provisions for off board buttons would have been nice.....the DNA20d has similar on board buttons but also has provisions for off board wiring of buttons.....

The size dimensions of the board would be very helpful to know. I think the adjustment buttons could be dealt with fairly easily, one could solder leads and leave the originals in place. I'm somewhat tempted....

Yeah this was my thought as well, you would think the dimensions would be a very important thing to list. I do wonder the power handling as well.

Overall though I'd say the Zmax boards @ $20 are the really compelling ones.

Ha they must not be selling the Grippers, so they are trying to recoup their losses by offering just the boards. I bet they just rip it out of the box if you order one :D The Gripper board works really well. I reboxed mine when the battery door busted like they always do. The boards are small, I can't get at it because its glued in but ruff dimensions: 1.4" tall by .8" wide, can't say depth but its less the .5"
