No problem. That red grand has an RM2 on it.

To go back to your charger question: I have had a nitecore intellicharger for about a year and a half. At the time, it seemed like the best two port charger for the price. Now, there are several other options that are generally recommended over the intellichargers such as the xstar (also from nitecore), or LUC from efest, or pila. These other options include better monitoring features that add to overall battery safety.

Fishcakes, there's a couple of things other Reonauts didn't mention.

One: A Reo Grand is very easy to carry around. I love how you can just sit it on a counter to do tasks. It sits flat and stable, ...and will take some good force to knock it over. If it does happen to fall over, you don't have to worry about electronic boards breaking. It's tough, and made very durable.

Two: It's just pure C L A S S Y looking!! :thumb: And not to mention ...the design doesn't remind you of female devices like some of those other things do.

My first reo was the mini. I bought it with a rm2 and picked up 2 batteries. I only felt i needed to bring a backup with me to work 2 days then just the mini. I would vape until lunch then swap batteries though im sure i couldve gone longer. Once i got home i vaped while i charged and then swapped when full. I never ran out of batteries. If there was a third involved all the better! Well after a week i loved it so much i sold my provari and picked up a grand...again with the rm2 but i also got a bottom fed odin with it. Ive never done direct lung inhale or duel coils or even sub ohms but after a couple tries i like it a lot. I still love my rm2 though and usually have both mods near by so i can have it all! Just need a woodvil to complete my reo family but i know there will be other metals in my near future and after your first one whether it be the mini or grand you will have a nice reo family of your own.

This is your list:

LP Reo grand
LP RM2
spare spring for metal grands
You can buy AW 18650 1600mAh batteries and chargers from RTD vapor - do make sure you get AW 18650 1600mAh, they are better than the 2000mAh, counter-intuitive i know, but there we are.

You will also need some wire and wick. Everyone sells that - For ease of shopping, just get some from Rob to start, when you get the Reo. If/when you get into coil building you can try all the different stuff, but let's concentrate on a setup that will work almost from the start!

Pics of the Reo are almost mandatory around here, so make sure you learn how to post them!

Lots of places to round up a charger but it may pay to order some things from the same vendors to save or even out shipping.

It's generally okay to shop around on chargers for best price, but it's not worth the risk for batteries. Since you'll need to pick up some batteries too, it'd be worth checking out RTD Vapor.

RTD vapor is a recommended source for quality and known authentic batteries (yes, fake/counterfeit batteries are a serious thing!), and they also sell chargers.

Couple of reasons for that. One is the continuous amp rating. The 2000 mah is 10A and the 1600 mah is 24A.

The other reason is because of how they discharge. The mah is basically a rating of how long they take to discharge with a continuous draw over time, from 4.2 volts down to 2.5volts. Now, even though the 2000 mah will take a longer time to fully discharge - we are only concerned about the discharge in the range we Vape. We Vape from 4.2- 3.7 or thereabouts. The 1600 mah actually delivers a higher power for a longer time in that voltage range than does the 2000 mah. The 1600 just abruptly drops in power at about 3.5volts, whereas the 2000 mah has a steadier drop to 2.5 volts over time. But we don't care about that, because we don't Vape below 3.5 volts before we have to out them on the charger anyways! So you get higher power for a longer Vape time on the 1600 mah vs the 2000 mah.

Just kidding around with you but you will find that they do multiply quickly around here.

Any choice is safe really, if you don't love it for whatever reason you'll be able to easly trade it for something else so don't sweat it. Really is about the lowest risk vaping investment you can make IMO.

From a recent post you put it looks like you're still on the fence between the standard and LP Grand. I'd say, and most would agree I think, you should do yourself a favor and get the LP as it opens up a ton of RDA options. You can still get Rob's amazing RM2, just need the LP version, but then you can vape any of the other RDAs he offers as well.

You'll love it!
