Vaping is definetely worse than smoking. No more vaping for me.

You guys are missing the point here, these products are manufactured in china and god knows what they do in those factories.

Do you think that if someone dies from an e-cig the factory in China will be sued?

 Perhaps you missed the headlines about the executions of Zheng Xiaoyu, Yujun, and Jinping. Xiaoyu was found guilty of accepting bribes to pass tainted products and the other 2 for producing/selling toxic products. China has really made a huge effort to ensure safety and testing since the melamine incident. And I'd say possible execution vice being sued is a pretty good incentive to produce safe products, not to mention the international pressure that was put on them. No country wants to lose their export business.

It's not like we haven't had our own problems in the USA with peanut butter and pistachios lately. The world isn't perfect.

Im of chinese decent and i do not take offense when people say made in china is cheap stuff because for the most part they are cheap and even i say so.

But people seem to forget where most of their products inside their homes are made in....

What bothers me is that people consider everything "made in china" is crap and will kill you. If the US army where to give the Chinese a "state of the art" submarine....the Chinese will copy it to a 90 percent accuracy....and then mass produce them faster than you can say sh*t.

In the Janty thread i posted how the Chinese probably killed the people who were involved with the stuff in the baby products without reading anything about it....ChainSmkr just proved what i had said.

The Chinese have one of the longest, if not the longest history in the world....just saying.

you know when I smoked tabacco cigarettes I had far more worse problems than I do now using an e-cig. I just got mine 5 days ago and havent picked up a analog since. The next day after quitting I started feeling better but the cravens were insane. Picked up the e-cig 12 puffs later cravings gone and moved on. 3 days later I have already have an improved blood preasure.....improved smell, taste, and my fiance' loves the facted I dont smell like an ash tray. Im thinking of taking up running in a couple of weeks when my lungs begin to feel up to it. Its been 4 years since I ran last that was when I had to in the military. Man i wish I had one of these back then.....wow So If you do have problems at the start of this thing try lowering the nic level and also switch to VG Johnson Creek I believe use VG and some other places as well....just don't give up with quitting tabacco....13 years of 1-2 packs a day has made me look for a better way....

ROTFLMAO! If nothing else, I got a few good laughs from this thread. I LOVED the prayer about punching people in the face over TCP/IP. I'm in IT (computer/networking geek) and the guys at work will love that one. Reminds me of my USENET days. And it IS a classic troll thread. The troll left early and everyone else carried on for page after page.

ahhh, USENET.

Glad I'll never have to use TIN again.

I have a bad reaction if i eat mayonaise, does that mean everyone should stop eating mayonaise? you probably have an alergy to the pg. It is also possible that because it isnt fda approved, you had a fear of using it, and let that fear run away, and you have had a panic attack. I have panic attacks, and that really sounds like one. Which woudnt have been caused by the vaping, but your fears of vaping. Cigarettes, are actually approved, they kill 440,000 people per year, 36,666 per month, 8,461 per week, 1,205 per day, 50 per hour. After 25 years of smoking 1 - 2 packs of cigarettes a day, i think i will take my chances with vaping.

I have only been vaping for 6 days, and i can breathe again already ... Woot Woot ... no way im quitting because of your alergies, or fears.

No research??? How long have these been being used in Europe? Just because the FDA hasn't reseached it does not mean that research hasn't been done and showing no substantial health detriments. I guess that it's just that the US FDA is so much smarter than the rest of the world. (note sarcasm) Let's boil it down...The US will disapprove it until they figure a way to make MONEY from it.

This is either one of two things: you are allergic to PG and would more than likely be fine if you switched to VG OR you are full of BS and decided to start a thread that all the anti-smoking fanatics will want to use in some newsletter on the bogus hazards of electronic vaporizers. There are about 5000 members on this forum and this is the first post I have read that states all 5000 of us must be wrong because one dude had a "supposidly" bad experience. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!

I see Polaroid is still reading this thread... Giggling to himself/herself... Lurking... Giggling...

It's really too bad you have made such a FOOL of yourself. You see we know we are currently the test subjects for this product. We know what we are doing. From what I can see is that many of us are well seasoned smokers (10+ years) and many of us are well seasoned Vaporers (sp) also. We speak from years experience when we talk of our successes, failures, side effects, and our personal health, not from a few days of trying one product.

Many of us are college educated professionals over 21 (31,41, etc.) Boasting that your are 21 and in college really doesn't qualify you in very much at all, let alone life itself.

As you can see, we have pretty much figured out from your first post that you are an idiot or an anti-smoker on some sort of rant. So go away, it didn't work, you did not save us from ourselves... (heavy sigh...)

I will not feed the troll! ;)

I didn't read this thread all the way through, but I had the same thing happen. Fortunately, I had read Kate talking about PG allergies. It took over a week for my sore throat to go away. It really hurt to swallow, I also sometimes, stupidly inaled the PG liquid straight into my lungs because I am a female with a small mouth (I guess) because it didn't seem like I could get enough draw from just my mouth. I am better at it now though.

I smoked analogs during the time my throat was sore. But, I ordered non-pg from Johnson Creek, it caused absolutely no sore throat at all. You know I'm sure, that the base for the VG is vegetable glycerine. I am so glad I didn't give up. No funny feelings at all now.

I hope you give it a try before you give up.
