your decision to stop is yours. talking about the tests and fda approved blah blah blah. im looking on my pack of camels right now and im sure not seeing it fda approved. to me its a toss up one way or another and if it saves money im going for it.

Same question here. Does fda approve the real cigarettes? Is there a case to apoprove them? NOOOOOOOOO

Is there a case to approve e-cigs? YESSSSSSSS and a big one, so odds are with us. Your reaction to pg or other ingredient is allergic I am sure because I had almost the same symptoms. I change liquid and no problem at all

Sorry xKrazYx I post before I saw your post, we say the same thing, I couldnt say it better

Any assumption on the safety of vaping is just that...an assumption. There are too many people stating that "they haven't heard" of any awful side effects of vaping yet.... This is just ridiculous. It takes decades and decades for cigarettes to harm your body enough to kill you. Just because no one is keeling over right now doesn't mean we can assume that this activity is absolutely safer than smoking in the long term.

Does it seem safer? Yes. But without extensive research no one really has a clue...

I guess you have never heard of the term "common sense". It shouldn't take a genius to determine that vaping is 100% better than smoking. That's what my doctor, dentist and pharmicist told me. I agree that studies should be done and research published and peer reviewed. But common sense does tell us that this activity is absolutely safer than smoking. Is it 100% safe? Don't know, that's why reasearch is needed. 100% safer than smoking? Without a doubt.

No, but not understanding what an oxymoron is might...

100% = absolute = vaping does 0.00% harm to your body. The only activity that is 100% safer than smoking is not inhaling anything foreign into the lungs. How can you assert so confidently that what you're doing is 100% safer than smoking when you are inhaling a liquid made in an unknown place under no safety standards with no empirical research done on the long term effects of the activity?

I was just reiterating that any claim to vaping's safety is purely an assumption.

Speaking of common sense.... is it common sense to buy liquid made from an anonymous manufacturer in China and inhale that liquid not truly knowing its contents? We don't think with common sense...we think like wishful addicts. That is the difference...

I read this as.. He/she is unsure if it is 100% safe although comparing analogs VS vaping it is a 100% safer alternative. (Ex.. Smoking has been proven to cause cancer where currently vaping has not)

It falls along the lines of the only safe cigarette is the one that isnt smoked. Seeing as if I vape rather than smoke it is indeed 100% safer with those being the only two options.

You're right Chokmah. It's not an oxymoron. ;)

No. Something else, but not an oxymoron. ;)

Well, whatever. We're being a little too technical here. Regardless it was two contradictory statements...

This still doesn't make sense to me though. If you know the definition then why say this?:

I will say one thing, you are .... Retentive and probably suffer from OCD, also. Since you seem intent on taking descriptive commentary as literally as possible, I will change my statement to 99% safer than smoking. But let's take your "arguement" further. Drinking cola is not completely safe for you, either. Is it 100% safer than smoking? Or maybe just 98.67% safer than smoking? Do we know for sure? Should we stop drinking cola completely? How about this statement: vaping is so significantly safer than smoking based on common sense and user experience, that you would be an .... retentive, OCD obsessed hypocondriac to insinuate it could be as bad for you as smoking.

PS: as I said before, testing should be done. I guess the attitude that comes through in your post seems just too condesending which it may not be intended that way so try not to take this post that way, either.

In defense of Polaroid, he just missed the big picture.

Maybe the Op should upgrade to a digital camera.

Hmmmm, this picture seems to be missing? Must have been taken by a Polaroid.

Look a**hole... all I was saying is that we cannot safely assume that these products are 100% safe... You got all defensive with me to begin with.... But you know what...You're right....It is very wise to make assumptioms about untested products. How foolish can I be. So sorry for bothering you.
