People, the correct way to speak the "ohm number" or a device or coil, is IMPEDANCE. Not ohmage.

It is a measure of resisistance, thus it "Impedes" the flow of electrons.
I've recently seen two well respected popular reviewers use the term ohmage and it seriously makes them look like complete amatuers.

Actually, RESISTANCE is measured in ohms.

I don't know about the rest of you but I REFUSE to put punctuation into the quote...

My teacher always said "the punctuation goes inside the quote."
NOT!!!

I say "the punctuation goes OUTSIDE the quote".
I don't care what they say about it.
:)

I remember for awhile they always said to put it outside the quote then they changed their mind and now it goes inside. They used to teach us to put two spaces after a period, now it's one.

We have specific rules for the English language except when we don't, and we follow those rules, except when we don't.

How about 's?

I grew up knowing that item was either Julia's or Judas'. I refuse to believe that it is Juda's (or maybe it was Julias', it's such a stupid concept I can't remember), that's a completely different person.

First they said Pluto was a planet and now it isn't anymore. /boggle
It is still Mickey's dog though.

Amps - Ohms - Volts, Maxwell's Equations. Don't have any Bad Feelings about.

But do you know what Makes me Mad?

People who know the Difference between "Affect" and "Effect". And then want to tell me What the Difference is!

I'm Sorry. But if Grammar Girl was my Daughter, I would put Her Up For Adoption.

I still put two spaces after a period, but the stupid internet keeps removing them.

Judas and Juda are two different people. The possessive of Judas to me will always be Judas'.

Besides, I don't even like Juda.
