Bad day at the office?

After a few days with the dual coils, I can say that I enjoy them more than standard coils if, and only if, they are properly powered.

My standard 14650's do not allow enough current flow to power the dual coils, causing voltage to be pulled down significantly from 5v to around 3.5 volts.

But when hooked up to a dc power supply at work that CAN supply the needed current, there is quite a difference. Warmer vapor, better vapor production, and increased throat hit.

Hopefully the IMR's will be able to keep up with these. I'll be placing an order for them within a few days. Without a supply that can manage 3 amps (and standard 14500's can't) dual coils aren't much of an improvement.

It was Monday wasn't it :) I agree with your evaluation of cartos except for the statement that PG is a problem for polyfill. Your perspecive is that of a hobbiest, which I do not have.

Lol it certainly was. Someone must've had a case of the Monday's :p

Did I say PG? If so, I meant VG. It's more of a problem for cartos that utilize the wrapped cloth type filler (slb's) than polyfill.

Not trying to be a smart but, but if u put a drip shield on a atty, doesn't that pretty much make it a carto? Lol, I do want to try them tho, my dripping skills are terrible

I am talking about disposable cartos like the geniune JOYE 510 carto and the 808D carto (not sure on the 808D). So no. Carry three or more prefilled ecigs.

For me the flavors are still drastically different. Also, I usually only vape the same flavor for an hour or so then switch to something else.

It depends on whether you are talking about flavor on the inhale or flavor on the exhale. Flavor on the exhale is much easier to get, and depends a lot more on the juice than the type of ecig. And carry three fully assembled ecigs, each with a different flavor. If you need more than that, then you may want to get some therapy :)

No, the drip shield has an o-ring inside that sets just below the connection. When an atty leaks, the juice is held next to the connection by that o-ring, and the next time air is drawn into the attomizer ... so is that juice.
So in reality all a drip shield does is allow you to vape the juice that would otherwise have gotten all over your PV and your hand.

Guess I need help, I have about 5-7 bottles that I rotate between. If I am in a sweet mood vaperite honey horn tobacco or Madagascar vanilla, nutty mood hazelnut, cant decide mood is dkang Turkish tobacco or vaperite tobacco, not sweet but smooth different tobacco is pierique, breakfast is usually toffle, desert is sometimes chocolate almond or snicker doodle. And my all time vape is vr4! That is just a sampling of a couple hours of vaping... there are others and it really depends.

A wild prediction...you will end up vaping the dkang turkish and one of the others. Have you tried TW absynthe? It's delicious with fabulous throat hit with no burn to the throat. I've been vaping it for three months now along with the turkish. Great combo.

Who makes it? I get bored with flavors allot and really will be sitting at the computer and just decide I am in the mood for something different. Also, allows me to lie to myself about how much I am vaping!

TW = Totally Wicked E-liquid. See their premier range for absynthe. It costs more than others--but IMO worth the higher price.

I carry a 5v otterbox mod, spare set of 14500's, "shore power" cable (to connect to dc power supplies at work when I'm at my test bench) and a bottle of juice with me..... Guess I need inpatient care :p
