My vape progression has now led me to where I feel the need for a better understanding of Throat Hit. I started about three weeks ago with some 18mg tobacco samplers and had to suspend for about a week because the 18mg was too potent. Now got some 6mg and 11 and find the flavor pleasing, but little to no kick especially with the 6mg. As a cigar smoker for past fifteen years (a few a week) and more so a pipe smoker past three years I really enjoy the added sensory flavor nasal exhale brings in addition to the accompanied slight burn. I would assume everyone's sensitivity to nic level and throat hit could vary widely. Generally at what mg nic level do you guys feel decent TH develops? I foresee myself vapeing more often than I smoked due to ease and cleaner feeling it rewards me with. I took up vape not to quit, but replace smoking.

For me its 18mg but prefer 24mg to be honest. With 16mg I can get a ok throat hit but I have to take a long vape to get a good strong one that really hits the spot. I chain vape 16/18mg on my fruity flavours and keep my tobacco at 24mg. I found anything under 16mg I would vape too much juice a day costing me more and not getting a good enough throat hit. :):):)

Nothing really creates the same TH that nic does but if you're willing to DIY or do some modified DIYn by adding to your premixed juices, there are a few products (flavoring additives) that might help. You can do a search in the DIY section. But here are a few ideas.

Koolada... creates coolness without adding any flavor.. use a little more and it creates heat. (This is hard to explain but its like when you put your hand in extremely cold or hot water... you're really not sure which it is.... that's how Koolada works.) The Flavor Apprentice (TFA) or called "Signature" at ecigexpress
Menthol Any brand will do and just add a drop or two... you won't taste it then
Cinnamon Any brand
Capsicum.. Flavor West
Pepper Flavor Art

Many of these are added to premixed juices to create TH just in amounts that you really can't taste but do feel (with the exception of cinnamon... you can usually tell its there to one degree or another)

Edit: All of the above I know are at ecigexpress. Ugh... forgot... Flash by Flavor Art
