Hi I'm a new member I'm just after some advice I've been vaping for a year now.I purchased some new vape juice its 70pg/30vg ive found with this juice I have developed a tickly cough and I'm losing my voice will this settle down after so long or should I change this for something else.

Hi Ginette. Welcome to the ECF.

If I use e-Liquids with more that 30 or 35% PG, I get that Popcorn Husk caught in the throat Cough after a Day or So.

70% PG would make me sound like Tom Waits with a Chest Cold.

I'd suggest trying some Lower PG e-Liquids and see if things get better.

Hello and welcome! Unfortunately it could be a number of things. The brand of juice, the juice itself, the nic level, PG/VG ratio, or
the ce4 clearomizer might be the culprit.
May be a bad clearomizer. Try the liquid in a new ce4, and see if the coughing continues.

If you're trying to stay off the stinkies, then that's the priority. If you're doing okay, then realize that most/much nic absorbtion is thru the mouth. Many here use "mouth to exhale". Bring into your mouth or back of the throat, hold as required, exhale, and repeat. If an extra bump is needed, exhale through the nose. Doesn't feel "natural" to ex-smokers but, with practice and self-reinforcement, in a week or so that's how you'll vape. Recommend.

What were the pg/vg percentages with your previous liquids?

I agree. Myself, I don't like more than 35 % PG (I can tolerate it but slightly bothers my throat) What nic level are you using?
Very important to sip water while vaping!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I used to get throat tickle when I first started vaping. I believe the juices were more than 50% PG. But it eventually went away. However, it wasn't a tickle after I vaped, just while I was inhaling. I also think that it had to do with high concentration of flavoring. Today I vape 50/50 with no problem.

The thing with vaping is that it can be expensive at first because you buy all these juices to see what you like best/works best. Just bear that in mind.

That said, I'm surprised you're using a CE4. Even though you started in 2019, it's still odd that you use a CE4. Are you in the USA?

I suggest you switch to a bottom replaceable coil clearomizer that has cotton wicks.
