Im not big on buying something that needs parts later with the two piece problem solved every time you put a new carto on you have a new atomizer that you can refill
That Bloog kit is $60....

After the 20% discount at LF you can get two Riva 510 lite kits (Okay, so it's just a tad over $60).

You'd have 4 nice, bigger batteries and 4 atomizers... and 20 cartridges to play around with.

Honestly this seems like a no-brainer to me :)

bloogs battery prices are now 15.99 they where 19.99 not sure if thats still cheeper but just a thought

Yup still cheaper, and the Bloog starter kit he's looking at is only $45 at SmokelessImage.

EDIT: except I just saw that the Bloog starter kit has 78mm batts and I'm not sure if the SmokelessImage are 65mm or 78mm.
EDIT: just checked, the SmokelessImage starter kits comes with the 78mm.

WOW, $16 - $20 for a battery??? Until I switched to the Darwin, I was paying $3.87 for a battery. That's highway robbery.

Except sometimes you get what you pay for. I ordered two different 808 batts at the same time, the cheaper one lasted one month. I'm still using the other, going strong after 53 days. I don't expect it die any time soon. Not everyones experience I'm sure, but it was mine and as you can imagine I was not happy. :(

Well he did say he was going to buy some Bloog(?) Cartos if he went with the Riva. I just figured, for the money, it might be nice to have some atomizers and cartridges to play around with when trying new flavors and such.

After considerable reading and study, I have finally decided on upgrading my NJOY .. it's boiling down to

BLOOG Maxx Fusion Deluxe Starter kit and a pack of Cartos (BloogPlanet) .. or

Riva 510 - Lite Bundle .. (LibertyFlights) and a pack of Boge Cartos ..

There is no wrong choice here.

THe Blogg looks like a standard 808, a good egg, but will cost you more to operate in terms of batteries. ~$5/month vs ~$2.50 for the Riva. That's minor in contrast with the juice. But the 808s are more practical for pockets, and there are other options for 808s. They're not clear on mAh rating, but 180/280/380 are the norm for short, standard, and extra long. I use 900mAh as daily use, but this is variable. I can cycle through 3 180s though the day, and consume 900mAh.

The Riva is a good bet at 650mAh, where two "should" be more than enough for daily use.

But there really is no objective reason to not get both. Battery and addy lifespan are limited. What you use at home might not be practical for the road.

You don't have any hard pulls on an ego and the battery lasts 8+ hours. And they cost $30.

Why would anyone pay 30 for a battery when you can get a whole new Joye eGo kit for ~$40 (or the Riva for $30 for that matter) with two batteries? This has boggled my mind for a while, I'm really not trying to be a smart-a**.

They have differant batteries 68's mini 78;s and 102's so its not so bad but i see your point have a good day
At least I don't look like I'm smoking a cigarette.

I'm not saying mini's are bad. Whatever floats your boat. I just wouldn't pay a lot for one, that's all. I have a 510 too that I like. I'm just not into making a hobby out of charging batteries.

Well it looks like both have there fans atleast you did not end up with south beach or something that would piss you off the min you get it time for me to go like i said pm me with any questions you may have on bloog or juice as i know a little not a lot about both have a great day and good luck

I'm really glad you're happy with your Bloog, and congrats on being 314 days smoke free! Most people that have them seem to really like them. I'm just cheap and don't really care what mine looks like. Most days the only one that seems me is my dog. And she's just happy I'm not smoking! She hated cigs, but likes the vapor.
Oh yea, hubby is happy too. I forgot about him. (kidding!)

I'm a man in my late 50's and I'm not worried about making a fashion statement, so size does not matter in this case .. .. I want something durable, that has a proven track record, parts are easy to find and provides a good TH and will work with a cartomizer .. the Riva 510 and the BLOOG both seem to fit that description .. what they look like, I don't care .. but I don't want to spend a ton of money either ..

I've used an NJOY now for over 60 days, no analogs .. so I'm wanting to move to the next level, since vaping (I don't like that word) .. seems to be working for me ..

Thanks .. I'm leaning towards the RIVA 510 .. as someone mentioned, and I'd not even thought about it .. I could get two RIVA kits from LF for about the same money as one BLOOG kit ..

And, I actually kinda like the look of the RIVAS / 510 style ..
