I've been vaping for about four months and began reading ECF shortly after buying my first PV at a local smoke shop. I never registered cause I never really had anything to add until now, but since I can't yet post in the subforum I was hoping to, I figure I'll say "hi" to everyone here. So, HI!

As to the details I'm sure you all want to know, I was a PAD smoker and haven't had an analog since my first vape, which was a Cig 2.0 that I later found out is actually a KR808-D1. One of the two batteries in my starter kit was defective so I immediatley went online to research how to fix it and found this wonderful forum.

I looked at several reviews and was particularly intruiged by Leaford, so made my way to V4L to get another battery, more cartos and some juice. I was having some issues with burning cartomizers which lead me to Leafords new Bloog Maxx Fusion. I've been extremely happy using it with my V4L juice and can't imagine wanting or needing anything else, except maybe a version of the fancy 'mini PCC' that will fit my standard length batteries.

So, that about covers it, anybody have any wisdom to share?

Thanks, I'm glad to be here, it's really nice to find a community of people who can all pretty much get along because of a common intrest. I am curions to hear if anyone knows of a nice PCC that will fit 2 78mm bats and a carto. I don't know how long Bloog will take to release theirs and it'd be really nice to only need to charge once every night instead of needing a USB port to keep one charging everywhere I go.

Hobbit - grats! And I agree. I would love a more roomy and lighter PCC for KR8 manual standard length - not that heavy flat pack. And ditto for 510 mega xl manuals since I really don't want the sharp edged metal of the Joye one. I got a nice roomy PCC for my short manual 510 batteries and cartos at NoSmokeVA. Fingers crossed for taller models in that style.

And you also had an ego?

With V4L cartos, I was able to get about 10ml of fluid through them if I was lucky but most I could only refill 2 or 3 times before the burnt taste was too much to bear. My method has been, at least since I began refilling, wait until the flavor changes and then top up until the juice doesn't soak in very quickly, I also always top off right before putting a cart on a fresh batt.

With the Bloog carts, in the past month I have thrown out only 2 cartos, both of which I simply couldn't get a good drag on anymore because they were too gunked up around the coil with residue and whatnot. In that time I went through about 50ml of fluid, though some of that was in different cartos that are still very usable, but i was trying out a bunch of juices, so that may have a bit to do with it, though I know for a fact at least one of the two went through and entire 30ml bottle before i tossed it.

I am a bit of a tinkerer, so every cart I've ever thrown out I dissected to look at the innards and the difference between the bloogs and the V4L cartos is quite significant. There is still a bit of brown on the inner polyfill but nothing like the others which had all burned holes through the fill. The design seems like a big improvement, and as long as you keep it wet it seems to be essentially burn proof.

Thanks, this is great info. Exactly what I've been curious about. :)
