Every time someone complains about the protank ll people swoop in and offer up all the quick fixes and analogies to why it doesn't work properly. Well...you shouldn't have to take something out of the box and do anything except start using it. First thing is I don't want to keep my protank "topped off" to make it work properly because I may not want to vape another tank of that particular flavor. So I could pour the old flavor back into the bottle right...No, because it's burned up like any and every juice I put in it whether it's clear or dark or high pg or low pg. I've had 2 protanks for almost 4 months and there's no fixing these things. They're gonna gurgle they're gonna leak on your battery they're gonna burn up your juice they gonna burn thru your coils and they're gonna work great for the first vape of the day after you dry your battery replace your coil and put new juice in them! I put the top off of one of my wifes evods on to my joy tech ego (where my protank used to be) and it works great been using the same coil for a week and it hasn't even started to blacken the wick and the battery last 3 days. I was about to give up on ecigs because though the evod worked ok I could drain the battery in no time but I have found the perfect combination by swapping the heads.
How many of your protank 2's did you purchase from Fasttech?
Everytime I hear someone complain about Kanger stuff, more likely than not, they got it from Fasttech.
I had two "Authentic" Mini Protank 1's and almost gave up on Kangertech products because 1/2 the heads that came with them were crap and gave dry hits and never wicked properly. Add to that, one Mini Protank cracked within 36 hours and the other within 3 weeks.
I decided to give them one more try because of a "can't miss" deal I struck with an online Kangertech distributor, and suffice it to say, never an issue since.
Every Mini Protank 2 I got from them were flawless. I have not had a bad head from them either. I can even make the heads last for a long time by replacing the flavor wick and dry burning the coil. I think I've gone through a total of 4 coils in 3 months, and 2 of those were the crap ones I got from Fasttech. Comparing the last surviving one (the one they gave me as a replacement for the first cracked one.) I had from Fasttech with some authentic Mini Protank 1's were very telling indeed.
It was obvious to me that the Fasttech ones were "different", both in packaging and physical construction.. I would say "counterfeit" but that gets all the Fasttech fanboys in a tizzy. I threw out my remaining Fasttech Protank immediately. Didn't want to deal with it failing as his two previous siblings had.
I'm not saying you did get your stuff from Fasttech, but I always wonder how many people who have issues with the Kangertech stuff has gotten verified authentic Kangertech stuff. It makes a HUGE difference.
Suffice it to say, that my trust in any "authentic" label on Fasttech is effectively zero.
