Erm.....I told myself that I wouldn't post another one of these updates after the last two didn't happen but Travis finally sent out a update, after a month, that looks more promising than the previous ones.

Ill just copy and paste what has been said:

Without being too long winded, I was able to create a program that allowed for relatively efficiant machining of the genisis section of the device. I was permanently pressing in the center post, and have a better way of doing this. attached is a pic of numerous pvs , i orederd some custom 3/16" 6-32 threaded standoffs, should be here today or tomorrow, they are the last tthing needed to put em in the box. if you would like more detailed pics send a text to ######. I can do battery tubes any way you want, if anybody would like to see some examples just text me. If there is any problem whatsoever that would prevent me from sending these units out by next week, i will paypal your payments back.

Close to six months waiting, and I hope this will be the last update before the PV is sent out within a week.

Everything is going great now!

Last Friday Travis updated me on the current state of how the PV is now set up along with a dozen photos, and today I asked for a update since he was waiting for the final parts Saturday. He said that we should expect the PVs to be sent out tomorrow or the next day and maybe one or two today if possible.

Ah perfect timing, now I can update this thread with confidence.

I just received the PV today and everything is great. I'll post a more in depth review of it later as I only handled it for a few minutes before I put it into a ultra sonic cleaner, so mostly likely Ill post a quick little summary of it tomorrow once I use it for the rest of tonight.

If there is one thing that I would mention right now is that I'm glad I stayed with this, even through all the hassle, as this thing is freaking light and it will most likely be my go to PV when going out.

Here it is! Click the pictures for a larger image.

Atomizer

Has a removable center post, the long screw that goes through the body can be replaced with a bass screw.
Reduced air chamber.
About a 1.6mm air hole
About a 3mm wick hole and fill hole
Screw on top cap
Holds about 4ml if I am correct
Came with a titanium tank (not pictured) and three space glass tanks.

Vapes like any other quality atomizer and hits as hard when compared to my G-Bell + GP Paps with the LUX screw set. Tons of vaper, flavor, throat hit and warmth with a 35mm x 60mm 400 mesh oxidized only on the top part with 4 wraps of 28 guage kanthal (about 1 ohm).

Magnetic Button

The button has four parts: two magnetics, and a two piece button assembly.
There is the magnetic surrounded by a black plastic that connected to the negative end of your battery and two small cylindrical ones that go into a hole in the actual titanium buttom.

Works great, I have not had a issue with pressing it or misfires. It is recessed about a millimeter or two so there is no need for a lock, it can stand up and be put into a pocket. Only thing I would like is to reduce the travel distance of the button to fire.

Battery Tube

Not much to say here as you can see by the photos.

Although there is battery rattle as I expected with the magnetic switch. I solved this by putting one layer of index card into the tube for a snug fit and it eliminates all rattle, you can see it in one of the photos.

Some last words.

Machining is prefect except in the top cap where there are one or two rough spots/ burrs. Any scratches you can see on the exterior is from use.
And as expected, since this is full titanium, it is very light. I'm planning on getting it media blasted to something like the orion for less maintenance on the exterior as it will be one of my EDC PVs.

Overall for about the $250 I spent on this, it is worth it and will definitely be on of my go to PVs when I go out. There was a price increase to when I bought it and now.

There was a big hassle of the time frame of making and sending out the PVs, also a lack of communication at some points between me and Travis. But when Travis does respond, most of the time within a day or so, he is a stand up guy in my experience never rude or aggressive when I would email/text him weekly asking for updates. All I will diverge in this topic.

Wow 7 months and he has 2 mods out.
Impressive isn't it? Vabeach , im glad you are happy with mod, send me a text to remind me exactly what you need, and ill hook u up. Oh, ive got some 1.25" long 25mm id 28mm od fused quartz tanks with flame polished ends on the way...And I have started machining some 1.25" solid bar...NEXT....Since what I say is a public discussion ill lay it out there for yall to speculate on and to talk about. I have yet to read through all of this, but will say everyone who has paid for a mod has it, or it is in the mail. The guy in the U.K. probably hasn't received his yet, but the others have....This has been a cluster from the beginning, I should have just refunded the people the money when I realized it was going to be quite an ordeal working on this machine. However I offered to refund everyone numerous times, and everyone wanted to wait...i had a bad feeling about it though, and sure enough..go a few days without looking through email, and get two charge-backs. Then as I exchange emails with these folks, they don't bother to even tell me, until I ask. im not ...... at all, but I am not really interested in selling these to people who cause me any grief. I wouldn't sell one to the troll who made the above comment for 1,000$. but I have given several away...that speaks for itself. I build these right by my lonesome, and spend probably 6 hrs a piece with my hands on every one even with the cnc machine. I am no thief or con, I hate em. if I were, I would have collected thousands of dollars and been long gone. i build these because I can, any craftsmen out there understands the satisfaction one gets from doing work most people could not. The same reason a machinist would build a miniature internal combustion engine...Also because I believe I am building one of if not the best all round mods out there, at 1/2 the price of what the others would charge. Ive seen many mods, and all but a few were unimpressive. And it is beyond me why people equate fine threads with quality...ill post in a few min , for suggestions and hopefully a constructive conversation. I Do not have my hopes up...
