Took it to work today - so another solid day of use, and no sign of any switch issues. The replacement piece seems to have done the trick! Some pics, with a reactor tank.

I can't speak about anyone else's experience I can only speak to my own.

At the end of the day I waited about 5 weeks for a custom made, to my specifications, Ti mod and it's fantastic. The guys that blew up this thread, don't even own these personally, so I took their comments with a grain of salt. Really happy I did. Anyone familiar with the high end mod market knows that 5 weeks is not a long time wait.

The fox arrived today exactly how I ordered it. Travis texted me through the course of the build and asked about certain specifications and then texted me back videos and photos asking for approval of the mod. And because he was delayed he sent me a free 500 tube and he also threw in some extras which I was not expecting.

In comparing this mod to the highest end stuff on the market I have to say it's up there both in terms of build quality, conductivity and general vaping characteristics. For reference, I'm comparing this to other high end stuff I own...Hellfires, Foggatti's, Zens, iHybrids, Orions, Silverdogs, Juggernauts and the list goes on and on.

The switch is great and the operation is flawless. Travis included two separate size insulated magnets for different sizes of batteries and throw preferences. One of the disks gives a 7-8mm throw with AW batteries and the second disk gives about a 2mm throw with AW batteries in both 500 and 650 mode. I prefer the 2mm magnet but the 7-8 also works well. The mod does not fire standing on the table and fires perfectly every time when you need it to fire. I measured the battery voltage at the posts while loaded with a 28 gauge wire 1.1 ohm coil and found the voltage drop to be about .21 which is expected for AW batteries loaded on a 1.1ohm coil. The conductivity of this mod is just about perfect as it's not losing anything extra under load. The entire thing in 18650 mode, with battery and full of juice weighs in at 162 grams. It's very light for a full size genesis hybrid loaded with juice and a battery. This is anodized blue and is the exact color that I asked for.

A couple pictures of it standing on the counter with a few other things that arrived this week, as well as a picture of it being fired with 60VG juice. It really spits out the vapor. Fantastic work and thank you Travis.

Editing to add some more details:
- Threading and finish are spot on. Not a burr or sharp edge to be found anywhere.
- Chamber is quite small for a full size genesis atomizer so flavor is very nice. I asked Travis for a lower positive post to reduce chamber volume. He did this, tested it and liked it. I believe all future foxes will have this lower post/smaller chamber as he liked how it performed.
- Airhole is about 1.5mm and wick hole is just over 3mm. My digital calipers just broke so I'm eyeballing this with a set of non digital calipers. My measurements could be slightly off.
- The amount of vapor is excellent but flavor remains clean and sharp. Some other atomizers have excellent vapor due to giant airholes but end up suffering in the flavor departement. The Blue Fox has a good balance of the two. While the flavor is not as intense as a Hellfire Mini or reduced chamber Hellfire Mega, it's still great and it blows some impressive clouds.

Did they go up? they are 625.00 for the tube and atty now.

Well, in my opinion, it IS worth that much. You guys should see the emails Travis has exchanging with me. Mine was the 1st to be despatched, but due to unforeseen circumstances, package was mixed up (my fault!). It's arriving today, so waiting anxiously like a puppy anticipating for a ball. Keep them pix coming, Ezkill!!

Got mine on friday evening. I am still testing, so I will not give a full review yet, as EzKill did. Ti Fox in 18650 with 510 top cap, Ti tank, Extra Custom domed top cap with machined shorty drip tip and 2-32nd inch holes lined up for my Dual wick configuration (That's Right) LOL. Here is a pic to give you guys an idea. P.S. I am glad I waited!!

Update:

After over two days of vaping the Blue Fox almost exclusively I couldn't be more pleased.

The switch is fantastic and has really grown on me. I'm used to a different button configuration specifically bottom buttons much like on the Caravela, iHybrid, Zenesis, Silver Dog etc. When Travis told me I'd like the button and sent me some picture of the design and features I remained skeptical. The magnet disc on the battery was something that I wasn't a big fan of, but with this design it works. While I'm sure it would be possible to break a magnet I simply can't see it happening. There are two, small, cylindrical magnets inside of the switch itself that repel the disc placed on the battery. The little magnets are surrounded by a lot of titanium and have 0 chance of breaking. The disc and battery float a few mm over the switch so nothing inside of firing mechanism is stressed. You would literally have to put a nail against the firing portion of the switch and wack it with a hammer to break anything. I'm not even sure if that would break anything. Rock solid. Never a mis fire and no matter how you press the button it fires at full power. You tap the button and it fires every time...no hunting around or grinding the switch. It just works. The pressure and throw are excellent and aren't causing any finger fatigue.

Unlike most hybrids the post that travels from the positive side of the battery to the top coil is fixed permanently. It's pressed through a solid block of delrin with several tons of force. I think it's a nice design feature for a few reasons. There is absolutely no way for liquid to leak down the positive post and into the battery tube. I've also had one of the typical positive screw insulating delrin pieces break in a different atomizer which would have resulted in a short had I fired the atomizer. No chance of shorts and no chance of juice ending up in the battery tube in the fox. It's a nice design feature.

The fit and finish are very tight with almost no tolerances. Everything fits together impressively well and the machining is just top notch. Considering this a pre CNC machine mod and made by hand I'm extremely impressed with the craftsmanship.

In fairness I had one small issue but it was easily solved and probably wouldn't have bothered most people. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I had to fix it. The button had a tiny high point on it so when you put the mod on the table it would sit with a tiny wobble. I noticed it and it bothered me...so I sanded the button with a little bit of sandpaper for a few minutes and now it's spot on. I almost hate to mention it because it was a 2 minute fix but I'm trying to be objective. I will note here that Travis automatically offered to send me a new button and said that I shouldn't have to sand anything. I told him it's going to be a 2 minute job and not to worry about sending a new switch.

As the wick and coil have broken in the flavour has brightened a bit and the amount of vapor is excellent. This is a very nice looking and rock solid piece. I can't find a single point of potential failure on this hybrid. No springs, no tiny delrin insulators, no screws(other then positive and negative poles). Impressive work.

Maam, I truly do appreciate your patience. it does not go unnoticed. Everything is going well, feels like its taken forever but im very close to running these devices with the aid of a computer...Turning operations that take hours into taking a few minutes..I have a video almost ready to post on the website, will start uploading this afternoon. It wil be much more detailed, and will hopefully answer any questions you have. I am going to follow thios post with some photographs. The ones attached to this post are of the mods that were so harsly critisized by the trolls. I am posting them as an awesome example of my work, and they were a steal at 225$. No futher comments needed on this , i will not respond to the negative trashdrazrdec1 541.jpg
