how can I get a heat treated drip tip like the one pictured on the website? Looks very nice.

Hey, I don't have one but my good friend who is my golf instructor does have one, in fact he has two. One is stainless and one is flame colored titanium. When I first saw them I really wanted one too,, that is until I talked to him about his. Evidently him and his friend actually went to the makers shop to get theirs. He told me that it was essentially a copy of the Macavelli so yes the switch works the same,,,that is when it works,,,he told me he had a lot of trouble with the switch and even had to go to a local machine shop to have it worked on. He said that he picked one up in person but the second one had to be mailed cus it wasn't ready as promised when they got there. Something about the magnet being ill fitted prevented it from working when he got it in the mail, also the glass tube broke within a week and he said he didn't even drop it, not even sure if it even fell over on the table, anyway he wasn't sent the spare tank of titanium as promised either. He also said that the maker never even responded to address the issue hence his visit to a local machine shop. His friend who went with him had the same problem. He did finally get it working tho but after hearing about all the trouble they had with the builder I decided no way did I want to go through all that. He told me that the guy never kept his word about anything they were told. They had to wait forever and they had even payed him up front. My friend is a really nice and easy going guy too, a great golfer and teacher as well. Another of his golf students decided against getting one too after hearing all the woes.. They are both members here too. I will see if maybe he can respond to the forum concerning this too. The other guy got an Orion and loves it, I have a Zenesis. I would say if you want one of these to be very careful.

I don't have mine yet, so I can't comment on the timing of delivery or anything like that.
But what I do know...The switch is not a copy of the Macavelli, it's the other way around.

it only makes me wonder why you couldn't refund all my money at the same time..
as far as costing you $580 to cancel an order and the extras for a few people...
I take it you are talking about refunding my $400 + $180 for the "$60 discount" codes for 3 people. (you only refunded $200, which hasn't shown up on my card yet)

I also heard about the calamity that my golf teacher and his friend suffered at the hands of blue fox. In fact he let me use one for a while while I was waiting for my Orion to arrive. I had some trouble with it but, being new to vaping, that could have been attributed to my inexperience. The button didn't always work like it was supposed to. Now that I have my Orion though I can honestly say it's fit and finish is better than the blue thing and it has operated flawlessly so far. Having used his borrowed device I was able to hone my skills at building coils and wicks so when my Orion arrived I had no trouble putting it in use. As far as who was first with that button design, blue fox or Macaveli, I don't know, but I would wager the Macaveli probably works better cus the blue one was a pain.. It probably just depends on whether the machine work is done precisely or not. I guess if one wanted to know who was first, they could just ask mac206 and at least get his take, huh. On the one I used the battery connection post was not machined very concentric but it worked most all the time except once when I used a battery that was slightly different size. Since my Golf teacher is a very personable gentleman of unquestionable integrity whom I've know for a long time, over 20 years, I didn't hesitate to take his advice and so I passed on Blue Fox. I'm glad I did because I couldn't be happier with my Orion. Also, when I reviewed all these posts on this thread it was obvious that blue fox seemed to be saying a lot but delivering very little, it only served to reinforce to me what I was hearing from my golf teacher so going with the Orion seemed a no brainer to me. Like i already said I'm more than happy with it. The only thing I might add to it when available is an AC9 atty not that there is anything wrong with this one but merely for the novelty of the latest new atty,,lol. To address the guys that came down to the shop and bought mods..there are some people who will take as long as you give...The old guy that was complaining about his mod is a drunk, straight up. If you contact me once youre good and drunk, are nasty, make comments about personal things you have no idea about, dont expect anything from me. After that old drunkard contacted me last time, I asked him if i could buy the mods back from him. i was never sent details about any problem, other than the magnets were the wrong size, ????? ( worked flawlessly for me).....and both mods were fully functional and filled with juice and tested before sent. I would love to see pictures of above described problems. please ask for pictures of the mod that had problems, and what machine work was needed. (also built these mods for And boog...I will double quadruple check, and call volusion, epn, and the bank that transactions go through again. i will take screenshots of the conformation that i refunded/cancelled if you need that as well.......I responded to your request for a refund immediately, for no charge. you have cost me hours....at least 4-5, just with all of your constant messages...Did we forget some places close on holidays??????

initially i offered a number of options for you out of kindness, and have refunded your money as you asked. since then all ive gotten are complaints , threats and bs from you. i offered to stop work for 100$ yesterday after many text, tell the whole story if youre going to talk. What i do know is that im sitting in front of this cpu instead of in front of a machine. Whats funny about you wasting hours of my time? Not funny to me, or the few guys mods im finishing before i start letting the cnc do some of the work. Heck, i may raise the price on these things 100$ soon, for the amount of labor involved and being titanium, these p.v.s are a steal. I would dare to say the most durable least likely to have problems mod of its kind anywhere. and completely user serviveable. But people still complain about anything...I will close this thread if its going to be a place of misinformation and lies.

This person is a retired military officer, a pilot who served in Vietnam, who continued to serve after retirement working for the state Dept in intelligence and is now a very respected Golf Professional. I have dined with him on more than a few occasions through the years and I assure you he is about the farthest from a "drunk" than almost anyone I know. He has one beer or two at the most. In fact we call him a "light weight" when it comes to drinking,,,lol. So that comment is nothing but a straight-up lie. Exactly what he told us to expect from you. You know when discussing the thing with me he never once resorted to calling you names. In fact he was really very careful not to disrespect you, as you have done to him, and he was even reluctant about posting the whole story here. I will urge him to do so again. Perhaps your disrespect will provide additional incentive for him to do so.
