Is it bad when you're thinking you have to label your tanks to remember which one is which, because you're always changing flavors depending on your mood? And then you just "happen" to drive by the vape shop on the way home from work (amazing how many ways home I've found) and there is just that one you HAVE to get because the sampler was amazing? And hey, while I'm here......

We disassembled and reassembled a couple of beds today, moving furniture around, fun stuff like that. But now my husband has his desk in his room, and as soon as I have a laptop (ok, notebook or whatever they call them nowadays) I'll be moving my desk into my own room. Yes we have separate bedrooms, as I cannot sleep with a man who jumps around all night and snores louder than the freight trains that go by down the road. So, next spring sometime when we get our income tax refund, I'll be buying a new laptop and a new desk. The space currently occupied by my desk will become my vape desk, so I can have my kitchen counter back!

I am sure there will be plenty of visitations back and forth, knowing how close you guys are!

Plenty of visits... but given that I'm past menopause... well... those visits are friendly. :) It's the time of life that illustrates that you'd better be married to your best friend, because the torrid romance does come to an end, eventually.

We both also came to understand that having one's own space for one's own things is a great thing for a marriage -- as Kahlil Gibran put it so brilliantly... "Let there be spaces in your togetherness." So he has a TV in his room... and I do not. :D

Hmm... Interesting idea. I have a colleague at work that never got married because he couldn't sleep with any of his girlfriends til morning, he would always kick them, literally, out of bed during his sleep... He thought it was a sign not to marry anyone... Guess he didn't thought of separate bedrooms :)

Ps: didn't shop anything today... Have 3 vape mail packages coming though... 1 from inawera, 1 from pink mule and 1 from fasttech... :D

Not to derail this thread and I also know how serious the condition you mentioned about truly is because that is exactly how my wife described sleeping in the same bed as me. I went to a sleep doctor who immediately scheduled me for sleep study. Turns out I had SEVERE sleep apnea. It took me a while to get use to my machine and I went through several masks before I was able to train myself. Now I can't sleep without it and I wake up in the same position I fall asleep in and do NOT snore AT ALL. It saved my life!!!!

If he has already looked into this then just disregard, but sometimes people don't really make the connection of how serious severe sleep apnea is. I was told I would stop breathing 90 times (average) in one hour.

Not trying to be a mama here....just an friendly FYI!!!!

Yeah he did the sleep study, back before we lost our insurance. The doc said "Do you know you move 20 times in an hour?" He said "Yep, my wife told me I move some body part violently every 3 minutes, because she lays there and times me, since I keep her awake." He doesn't have apnea, just some weird variant of "restless leg syndrome" that afflicts his entire body. He took Requip for quite a while, and it helped a little, though not completely. Then we lost the insurance and the problem came back, till I did some reading and researching and suggested he try iron supplements, as iron-deficiency anemia seems be a fairly constant factor of most all the sleep disturbances suffered by middle-aged men. He tried it, and it actually helped a great deal. Then, he got diagnosed with hypertension, and they made him stop the iron supplements.

But fixing the jumping and wiggling did nothing to help the snoring, anyway. So around the time they made him stop the iron, he got tired of finding me sleeping on the couch every morning (felt guilty about it, I'm pretty sure), so we decided he would move to the guest room, and have maintained separate rooms ever since. It saves a LOT of wear and tear on the marriage. Yelling and screaming at each other in the middle of the night is not conducive to any kind of friendly relations all the rest of the time.

Plus, I don't have to smell all the various "man smells" everytime I go in my room -- that's an amazingly wonderful side effect I hadn't anticipated. :D

I was wayyy off there then!!! Sorry about your insurance....that sucks ...!! Apnea can be one of those things that can get you and you never saw it coming. I've heard of people dying in their sleep from it and I didn't want that for my family.

Even though I was wayy off for you I hope I was able to bring to this issue to light for other people!!

I saw this trick on here once & I have used it since. I have a couple bags of those little rubber bands kids would make bracelets out of. I put the same color (or color combination, I have quite a few tanks) on the bottle & then on the tank. If you wrap them right around the belly of a glass tank, the bands kinda act like protectors, prevent breaking when hit from the side. Then & only then can I remember what is is each tank.

Ps : didn't buy a thing today but I must confess that I tried... Went to a pharmacy to buy 100ml glass bottles but they only had amber ones... I want cobalt blue ones :/

Tony

I like the cobalt ones too, but I'm afraid if I got them, I'd just put them in the window with my other decorative cobalt glass, and then I'd still need bottles for my nicotine. :D

Which I finally bought today, another 120ml of 100mg. All these threads about the awful things the FDA is going to do have made me nervous as a cat. At least I've finally figured out how to make a decent-tasting Virginia. Now I need to try and narrow down the flavors that will create something like this Blueberry Muffin/Banana Nut Bread I find so delightful. Any suggestions for bakery flavors will be welcomed! (flavors, not ejuice)

Can't help you with that as my taste buds only work with menthol.

Its nice you can get 100mg nic though... the highest I can get at a good price is like 52mg. Will try inavera though... if it is ok and freezable like my ADV, then I could get a gallon or two of that stuff and store it for a few years in expectation to what happens globally with e-cigs.

I did DIY a few years back but it never tasted as good as this liquid I have (mine was somehow more bitter) I also was concerned with the menthol crystals I got from the pharmacy. It said on the bottle 99,8% pure menthol crystals but then there was a note: not for human consumption... wierd hu?

Well I guess it's kinda like ejuice -- not supposed to eat/drink it. It really is kinda weird, the stuff we're vaping seems fairly harmless to inhale, but if you drink it, better look for a toilet/trashcan quick. :D I guess it's all in the quantity -- vaping it doesn't deliver a concentrated dose the way that eating/drinking would.

I have no idea if flavors will freeze well; I buy the 10ml (or 8ml if I get some from WizLabs) bottles of flavor, and just stash 'em in a drawer, so at least they're usually protected from light, like the ejuices I'm currently using. But it's time to go thru that drawer again, move some to another drawer that doesn't get opened as often -- got several flavors that I don't use enough to warrant keeping them with the "active" ones.

You can get sweeteners (ethyl maltol, and I think you can also use sucralose and stevia) to sweeten ejuices; I had to go in the other direction, and get some "Bitter Wizard" to make my Virginia taste right.

Thanks for the information. Maybe I'll give it a shot sometime.
Got vape mail today from inawera. Just tried their blackcurrant and wow... It's really blackcurrant (kinda sweets blackcurrant). It's not something I can vape all day but it does taste nice... First eLiquid in years that actually doesn't taste like a chemical waste plant (except my ice menthol of course). Now I want to break open the cherry mint to try it out heheheh. Also need to test the milk chocolate flavor... Hmm gonna be a long night... :)

Luck has just ran out. Tried the "fresh" base... It tastes like Peppermint gum... Vapable but certainly not an adv... Good I bought only 100ml... Going into the freezer anyway... Might come handy one day if there is nothing else...

I have yet to try double menthol but not too excited. Inawera's flavors are excellent compared to the trash I've been trying BUT I guess I can't tolerate any flavor for more than a few hours except ice menthol which hasn't exactly a flavor... I'm doomed.

I just can't depend on a single supplier. What if they go bankrupt? :(
