Not to start a fight. I have considered and I will probably get the Provari once I save enough money after finding my perfect topper (apparently, I need to try every topper in the market). That said, I am a new vaper. Not even 2 months in. As a new vaper, I'm finding that VW is one of the easiest functions to deal with. If ease of use is key, why not the set it and forget it aspect of VW?

Different tanks, cartos, whatever you're using on top of the device will have different resistance and therefor will need higher or lower voltage to fire at for the best vape.

I know about resistance and voltage. VW means that once I find my sweet spot for the particular juice I'm vaping, it doesn't matter if I change the coil out, or put that juice into a different topper. I can set the wattage, and the device itself will change the voltage based on the different resistance. Like driving an automatic instead of a manual. I personally like to play around with things, so only having VV is fine by me. However, for someone like my husband, only having VV is a nuisance. He doesn't want to press anything other then the fire button. He also has no idea about resistance. While he had a VV device, he wound up stealing my iTaste VV v3 specifically because he didn't need to mess with voltage if he changed out a burnt coil.

Oh I see, did not know that.

Dani Dicodes/Pipeline Pro (different names same mod). Probably the next reference if provape dœsn't wake up.

I was researching these.

What I've gleaned reading:

In 18350 mode, it's 79mm Long.

Looks like you can vape at much lower ohms than w/Provari as well.

200 kHz (not Hz) compared to Provari 800 Hz. I went to this calculator here, and was astonished.
Convert kHz to hz - Conversion of Measurement Units

That means it would pulse about 200 times faster than a Provari? Am I reading this right?

Right around 5:28 on the you tube video, you can see how the Provari looks like a baton next to it, video is in german, but you can see everything you need to see---I think it's pretty elegant looking......german design:

The ProVari does what it does, and it does it well. When people talk about it not having this or that feature which they consider important, they don't want a ProVari and should get something else. ProVape didn't design the ProVari for advanced vapers on ECF. It's designed for people who want an easy to use device, that works consistently and can be sent in for repairs if there is a problem.

Utterly valid assessment, in a nutshell.

It excels at what it was made to do.

I'm not a tube mod person, but if I were, I really had no complaints other than weight and not feeling mobile enough for me, but I think you are going to be "there" anyway, as soon as you step up to a larger mod. Of any kind.

People have their preferences, but VW isn't always set it and forget it. I change settings all the time, irrespective of whether I'm using VW or VV, since juices taste different to me throughout the day. And overall, all of my devices are set it and forget it to some degree, since I know what I like for each topper I use. Juices don't always taste the same in different toppers either. I only have one flavor that I really like and I have it in more than one topper, since the flavor is just different enough for it not to taste like the same juice. Currently in 1 I'm vaping it at 7.8 watts and in the other at ≈ 9 watts.

Again, it's personal preference. If your husband is happy and not smoking cigarettes, that's all that matters. :)

But why? I get that answer a lot and don't really know why people enjoy it so much compared to anything else.

to quote from Deacon Aegis on 4/13/2013

"ProVari's qualify you to become a member of the ProVarinati, which will make you powerful and attractive to women. You may also get a job at MI-6 with a Provari, and everyone wants to drive an Aston Martin, right?"

Can you please provide a link to this product? In having trouble finding it.

I never though I would have a panic attack from lighting my last cig at work with 5 more hours to go with no breaks in sight...Until I forgot my ProVari.

The night I got it, I was swept away to vaping bliss. I only had a iclear30s at the time and even then...the vape was so smooth, heavenly in fact. The next morning, on my way to work - the panic hit me as I got on the interstate - ZOMG!!!!!!!!!! MY PRECIOUS!!! Where the....

Needless to say, I got off the next exit, drove my .... home and arrived at work 15 minutes late.

Yeah...it's that important.

Yes the provari was nice, but its design is outdated, it was made for carto-tanks.
Most atomisers nowadays are 22mm, if you don't go over 15W you're better with a nice meca of your choice and a kick2, which gives the same flat current as the provari.
Now there's also a new mod that has all we wanted in the provari 3 that never came, it's the Dani Dicodes/Pipeline Pro (different names same mod). Probably the next reference if provape dœsn't wake up.

Really? Not quite sure what you mean.

So with mine coming in - ended up ordering the Zombie Mini one - should I grab a pro ring from Loki Labs? Does anyone have those and can say yes get them for the flush look? I know people have complained about the weird look because it isn't 22mm right?

What's 20 more dollars when you bought the coolest ProVari yet! (yes, the Zombie is my first so I'm bias!). I have the Loki ring and it was so worth the money.

Remember though, on some tanks (my iclear30s to be exact) you may have to ever_so slightly pull the bottom coil out just a cat's whisker to get a proper connection. I had used my tank on my MVP and must have torqued it down too much so the coil was too far up inside the tank to get a good connection on my ProVari.

CONGRATS on your decision! I was kind of torn up on what to buy when I decided to get a mod. All the "bells and whistles" of some of the others that people pointed out did seem cool. But after thinking about it, more features can produce more problems and like I really needed to know how many damn puffs I'm doing? This is suppose to keep me off analogs, it's not my job and I'm not logging puff counts. For the super serious vaper that wants to know, well have at it. All I cared about is investing in a mod that will last and keep me off of analogs.

And there are a lot of die hard ProVari people. If their ProVari sucked, would they stick up for it that strongly and buy multiple of them? I mean many own 2,3,4+ of them. That alone told me something-its worth it to buy one. For every dissatisfied customer, 100 people will know about it. For a satisfied one, you usually don't but not with ProVari customers!

It's a proven product, high customer satisfaction, fantastic customer service from ProVape, a year warranty and super high quality. USA made was icing on the cake.

And someone will answer you regarding the ProRing from Loki soon.

Loki rings do the job...but look at this:

Top ring for ProVari....8.00....... Kayfun PV Cone

The Loki cost me 25 bucks with shipping and its nothing special, I mean..it works..but......25 bucks?

I think I will try these next.

If they are made by SvoeMesto, they have to be great quality.

EDIT: Opps..just noticed...out of stock.
