I have held a Zenesys SideWinder and wow. You can add a Kick to that and have variable output. The down side is if you like to move your output around and with this you'd have to pop out the kick to do so. The Provari is highly recommended by many. I have a Zmax and really like it.

With a long, long history in motorcycles I can tell you that it is unlikely that you'd ever feel like you are done. Those riders out there will understand the term "farkle" (Function and sparkle). I continue to do farkles on my bikes and I'm sure I'll do the same with vaping as I enjoy it and I enjoy trying out stuff. I have a very small number of buddies that like their bike the way the manufacturer built it and don't buy new bikes or farkles but they are by far in a minority. There is nothing wrong with finding what you like and never changing and there's nothing wrong with finding what you like and trying to find more. One is just cheaper over time. :)

Lots of reasons actually. People like variety.Ive seen people coordinate their outfit with their Provari....also certain tank and rbas just look better with different finishes.

The Provari is rock-solid reliable but having two provides a lot of extra piece of mind.

got my second as a back up. after a few weeks use i managed to drop mine about 7ft onto concrete...ouch.. still worked but lost a digit on led.

Started with a Lavatube... love it. but reading all the Provari posts over the last month or so I was wondering what the real differences are. Ordered a Provari and got it this morning in the mail... I must say. I'm impressed. The lavatube works great but the vape i'm getting from the Provari is smoother and fuller... if that makes any sense. Using the same carto and tank from my LT on the Provari it just is frankly less harsh, and the flavor of my vape is better.

If variable voltage is your thing, definitely get a ProVari. It's obviously the best variable voltage device available. Don't waste your time on cheaper variable voltage devices.

I don't own one though, because variable voltage isn't my thing, but the ProVari is your best bet if you see variable voltage as your vaping future.

Definitely for "To"... There are two ways of looking at this. Either you can upgrade gradually and enjoy the adventure of playing with several toys before you graduate to a Provari or you can just jump right into end-game. The earlier being more expensive in the long run and the latter cheaper. I chose the latter. Bought an ego starter kit when i started and a week after placed an order for a Provari. Feels good to have something solid and reliable anytime ( as long as my batteries remain charged). I am still looking at some other higher end mod but it's not something I need anymore but want instead. I can choose to wait a few months or buy now because my Provari pretty much does the job for me and very well, if I may say.

Since i bought a buzz pro my desire for the provari has been satiated. It's also built very solid. It lacks a voltage readout but i love the dial. It's like adjusting an analogue volume dial, just tweak it until you find the sweet spot. Plus now i know exactly where to set things for my variety of gear. I've multimetered the device as the battery drains and it stays bang on until it stops firing.

I know i won't convert provari users over lol, but it's a great device for the money imo

I don't see this stopping as new devices with new tech are coming out regularly. Provari seems nice and all, but currently Zmax offers decent quality and better performance. Might want to give it a try before the Provari.
Awww. Hope this doesn't turn into another z vs p thread.

I've been vaping 6 months now and I've resisted the urge to upgrade. I'm sure the Provari is very nice, but my cheap eGo batteries work for me. I've saved a decent chunk of change by not smoking anymore, but instead of putting it all back into my nic habit, I'd rather spend it elsewhere.

This makes a lot of sense to me so I'm now caught between not spending and investing in a Provari. About an hour ago, it was the Lava Tube. But after several reviews and threads, I changed my mind. haha Since I'll have to save money for the purchase, I still have time to do more research before making a final decision. :)

Save your money and get the Provari... Build quality is tops and they last for years

Still considering getting a Provari since first learning of their existence many moons ago. Still hesitant to put up the duckets since I have more than enough cheap Chinese VV PV's to keep me happily vaping for a long time. So far I've probably spent more money on the several chinese knock offs to more than pay for a Provari. My question is once you do finally get your Provari do the obsessive PV upgrade demons acquiesce?
That demon is very persistent. He never leaves you in fact once you get the Provari the doors are wide open. You see just how nice it is and at that point you might as well see how nice the other stuff is. but its all fun and I like all the stuff I get

I love how everyone says the ProVari lasts for years. How long have they been available for purchase? I haven't been here for years, and I remember when the ProVari was in development.

I first heard of it on another forum mid 2010 and they were talkiing about the new revisions at that time so maybe you came along when they were releasing the mini

Everyone I know on this board who has a Provari loves it. it's just a well designed mod that provides very reliable and constant voltage to the atomizer ... all the way down to the cut off point where it flashes the LED.

There are many really great mods available these days and I haven't tried the others. I went from a 510 to the eGo to the Provari. I justified the Provari by promising to myself that I would quit those last few cigs when it arrived. It came in the mail and I quit the last cigs. That was 6 months ago and I have never looked back. Truth is, I could have kicked those few cigs I was still smoking after meals and with coffee any time I wanted to, but I got a Provari out of the deal the way I did it!

Every good thing you hear about the Provari is true. If you want a really good mod, choose one that is made of stainless steel. Aluminum or pot metal threads will eventually wear out. What you get with the Provari is a mod that will last. I have dropped mine on concrete more than I like to admit and it still looks good. It has one tiny nick on the battery cap (replaceable) and you have to hold it in bright light and rotate it to find the two faint scratches it has. It still works as well as it did on day one.

On the Provari what you set is what you get! I own a bunch of devices that are similar to the features and functions of the Provari but they do not perform as accurately as the Provari with regards to the set voltage and actual resistance of the atty. Build quality is another huge factor that sets the Provari apart from the competition.

Vape On!
