I'm a newbie and I have a Provari. It's quite easy to use. Even the menu which some people say is too complicated -- it's not. Today's average cell phone is way harder to figure out.

Agreed. I'm a total noob (about two weeks in) but after a little guidance from the guys at work, I went with the Provari. I tried a couple others but just loved the Provari, before anyone told me that I'd be paying more for it. Yeah, it's expensive... but so are Marlboro Reds. I'm getting off cheap in the long run.

And yeah, the menu... it's just not complicated. Trying to remember how to set the time on my microwave is far more complicated than adjusting my Provari's voltage. I think it took me all of about 3 minutes to get the hang of it.

And, hey, if you go for something else, cool. I wouldn't try to push anyone toward what I got, since (as I mentioned) I'm a noob. I just know I'm really happy with what I got.

I have a couple of question about the Provari? What's the big deal about it? Why is it Provari is spoken of as though it's made of gold and there is none better? Have all of you who are proclaiming it the very best money can buy, purchased all other systems and for comparison? What's the big deal with it? They all pretty much basically do the same thing from what I've read. The rants and raves are like comparing a Hummer to a Pinto when it may just be Hummer III to Hummer II.

what voltage you set is what you get. it's accurate. just my:2c:

Plus 1 ..for me too.. I still dont have one but really want the mini v2. My first PV was a megalodon that I loved and hated but that was before any of the tanks/atty etc. I myself have never pulled the trigger but now that their $159 im getting close. I'm stuck with a beat up lavatube wanting more. A few of my friends have orions which makes hesistant on making any sort of decision and with the cheap vamo out i just don't know anymore. One thing though is that you could always sell your provari.. I sold my megalodon after a year.

If you really enjoy vaping like I do then the Demons WILL NEVER GO AWAY. Their always there lurking in the dark. I got more VV and VW devices along with a Provari. Now I want the king of them all. One that may just outdue the Provari. I want a PreciesePlus and a Kicklet from Super T Manufacturing. Lifetime transferable warrenty, variable wattage. But then it also cost a lot more than a Provari. So my demons will have to wait. My demons have never looked at my checkbook. I have and now its a no go on the PreciesePlus. I will recomend the Provari if you can swing it. I also want a Provari Mini to go along with the other 15 PV's I got. I want one of everything.
How about one of these?

they aren't out yet i thought....plus i'm fairly certain it's going to be a glorified fixed voltage mod with a really expensive atomizer that is 100 bucks to replace....furthermore i believe that thing was conceptionalized to cater to those vaporizing solid herb products and didn't think the e-liquid portion of it through very well....

even if it's made of ceramic and some of the best wire in the world...you still need to clean it, and the thing looks like it was built to remain one piece, so good luck getting bad flavors out of the atomizer, and good luck if it breaks....there are just too many "what ifs" surrounding that device right now.

furthermore: why spend 250 bucks (unit only) on pre ordering the cera, which we don't even know if the atomizer can be changed, or for that matter what threading the atomizer has...plus it doesn't look like you'll have VV, plus we have no idea about short-circuit/over current protection, or even how long they will last....the provari costs 160 dollars (unit only) and is TRIED AND TRUE for this purpose, and the entire provari starter kit can be had for what would cost just the cera.

and lastly: again i'll stress this thing is in pre-order mode....remember all the hype about the eVic? all the cool new features it had? don't get me wrong, firmware updates are great and all, but they won't fix a 2.8 amp limit (which is usually instituted by the switch, not the firmware/software) and the fact that the "revolutionary software" that everyone was all raving about, turned out to be nothing more than a really complex puff counter....add that to the wonky menu system, and i call the thing a flop...the cera may be the same thing, a flop, except you'd be WAY in the whole when you could have just bought the provari plus all it's starter kit goodies.

ok....enough ranting and raving....bringing my soapbox elsewhere.

provari's are great but might want to also look at the Sigelei ZMAX, PBUSARDO did a review on it comparing it to the provari and said it was the first e-cig that made him think it might be a good replacement for it.

personally i like my original SMOK ZMAX a little better then my provari mostly because of the wattage settings im lazy and dont like to have to figure out voltage for all my different atty's all the time and really like the way it hits.it did have its downsides tho the finish on the stainless one was a bit rough so i had to run a ball deburrer over the slits in the tube to smooth it over some and the screen on it has a few bugs like it says lou instead of low because the screen was not big enough...no big deal in my book.

after watching his review of the Sigelei ZMAX it looks like they took all the issues with the smok version and fixed them and used a much better screen and tube. so i just ordered one tonight myself. but ether way you cant go wrong the provari is a great solid e-cig i just wish they would come out with an updated one with a wattage mode im sure it would instantly become my favorite again.

i can confirm and agree with this, i recently got a sigueli'max from co-op and it is a nice piece of equipment, i've actually been preferring it over the provari in some applications such as genesis attys due to the higher amp limitations of the 'max....i can throw 24 watts at the ZAP with stacked batteries with it, something my provari can't do, it would give me an error message before i got the voltage high enough.
