The buying itch doesn't go away it gets worse. I am pretty sure I'm more addicted to finding mods then I am vaping it seems like lol. I keep trying to find just a little bit better or something fun and different. Then the fact that a lot of them are so rare it's hard to pass one up when you see it available.

Truth is though you can only vape one at a time, well maybe two.

2nd quarter 2013 starts in april....so you have time on that....plus if it's simply a new version of the provari, they'll probably offer an upgrade package to existing customers.

....if i were a betting man though, VW would probably be what i'm thinking...where did you read that by the way?

If they drop something magical around April...that'll be 1 year off for me. One year treat haha

I read somewhere that provari can't use vw in their mods because of a patent. The Chinese just don't care and do it anyways, not sure how true that is.

"can't" is strong wording...they could always pay for the rights to use the technology...they may even be working with evolv on it for all we know....but we won't know till April, and is still love to see where they talked about an announcement.

I got my Provari in the mail this week. I do like it. It's very well made and not nearly as bulky as I might have thought.

However, at the most basic, it's still a battery device. The real magic happens by using the right atomizer with the right juice delivery system. I have a 1.5 Ohm tank setup on an eGo Twist and it hits as hard or harder than my Provari with a 3 Ohm atomizer tank, even though I've dialed up the voltage on it.

The provari will not solve all your problems, nor will it reduce your cravings for more gear. If you put the wrong atomizer or juice delivery system, it won't hit very good.

However, it does have some advantages. The replaceable batteries are quite nice if you plan to vape for years. It's built quite nicely and all reports indicate it can take a beating. It's also nice to look at and to hold.

I have a couple of question about the Provari? What's the big deal about it? Why is it Provari is spoken of as though it's made of gold and there is none better? Have all of you who are proclaiming it the very best money can buy, purchased all other systems and for comparison? What's the big deal with it? They all pretty much basically do the same thing from what I've read. The rants and raves are like comparing a Hummer to a Pinto when it may just be Hummer III to Hummer II.

"best" is subjective...I've got quite a few mods now, and while I'm not saying provari is the best, it's definitely the best I have, and it's definitely the gold standard as far as vv pvs are concerned.

I've been asking myself that question a while myself and I have finally come to my conclusion recently. I am going to not Provari. Why? It's purely subjective on my part. I'm sure it's a great device. It just bugs me when there seems to be some kind of monopoly going on With warrented real reasons or not. That's it. That's the only reason

Agreed.

I've been vaping for just over a year; started with an eGo, then i tried some other stuff (esco e2 space needle, just for kicks cuz i liked how it looked, Lambo/lavatube, vmax), then just about 3 months aog i got a Provari -- never enjoyed vaping as much as I do now :)

There was a model "made of gold", don't see it now......darn

generally they are plated gold after by the user of the device.....a quick google search will give you the general idea.

I was using SI equipment. Now I have a Provari coming in the mail. I'm going to try it out. I seen some reviews and read ALOT of post.
For me it was about getting off of cigaretts. When I started vaping, I eased myself in. Now I really enjoy vaping. Now I can justify getting the Provari. I also found a couple of flavors I like, but still looking for more flavors.

If you really enjoy vaping like I do then the Demons WILL NEVER GO AWAY. Their always there lurking in the dark. I got more VV and VW devices along with a Provari. Now I want the king of them all. One that may just outdue the Provari. I want a PreciesePlus and a Kicklet from Super T Manufacturing. Lifetime transferable warrenty, variable wattage. But then it also cost a lot more than a Provari. So my demons will have to wait. My demons have never looked at my checkbook. I have and now its a no go on the PreciesePlus. I will recomend the Provari if you can swing it. I also want a Provari Mini to go along with the other 15 PV's I got. I want one of everything.

It has really consistent voltage regulation. Built of very strong materials. 1 year included warranty. Affordable upgrades. Decent amperage limit. Replaceable batteries (as with all/most APV).

I'm sure there are a few reasons I've left out.

For me I just wanted something that was going to last. After buying 3 eGos and an SDK I was already half the way to the price of a vari. Wouldn't have been too long with a few egos that I'd surpass it.

Plus I wanted to get into RBA and wanted a device I knew could stand up to the trials & tribulations associated with a beginner rebuilder.

But its not the best for everybody. For me? It fits the bill very well. For a beginner? I don't advise it.

I've been asking myself that question a while myself and I have finally come to my conclusion recently. I am going to not Provari. Why? It's purely subjective on my part. I'm just curious, how exactly is it a monopoly? Best part about vaping is the insane amount of devices out there. Provape isn't doing anything to corner and hold a part of the market.

the provari uses "accuset" technology and the volt is extremely constant, look for pbusado's review on it

there is a story here of a guy that left his provari on the top of a semi tire and forget it,when truck drove off ,it drove over the provari, pushed the cap out a little and destroyed the carto [of course] otherwise he kept using it the rest of the day

i have dropped mine out of a moving vehicle before with NO damage to anything, only one tiny little nick on the top cap

Thinking of getting the provari as my first PV. Is it really difficult for a newbie to operate APVs?

I'm a newbie and I have a Provari. It's quite easy to use. Even the menu which some people say is too complicated -- it's not. Today's average cell phone is way harder to figure out.
