I've become addicted to Mixed Berries by Simply Jelly and am trying to come up with my own version (clone). I'm going to start with Strawberry Sweet, Raspberry Sweet, perhaps a small percentage of butter (.15%) a tiny bit of Saline (.10) Concord Grape, Gummy Candy (not sure about this one either) Sweetener (Super Sweet?), Malic Acid (.2) and I think that's it, unless you have any ideas on what to try.

I'm new at creating my own e-juice and am just going off of what my palate tells me and my own culinary experience. As far as the 'toast' note in this mix, I'm stumped. I was thinking about trying Bread Crust, but I have no clue. What do you think about Acetyl Pyrazine to impart that baked/bready aspect? Again, no experience with it either.

Side note: before I make the commitment to purchase my own supplies, I'm going through vape Crafter.

ANY help is MUCH appreciated!

I'm having a similar problem...

I'm trying to clone a Chinese juice called "Berry Mix" by Liqua but can't quite get there yet. It's got strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries pictured on the box. I've tried a couple of combinations with Bavarian Cream (TPA) and Sweet Cream (TPA) but it wasn't right.

The last batch I made I instead added NY Cheesecake (CAP) and Vanilla Custard (CAP) but I'm still letting it steep. I think this one may be much closer (I test by putting a wee drop on my hand and actually tasting it). On Sunday it will be a week old and I'll be trying it then.

NY Cheesecake is pretty awesome - cheesy creaminess and graham cracker gives your mix a very nice bakery taste and mouth feel.

BTW, I don't know about adding that Concord Grape into your mix - it's pretty grapey, not sure if it much goes in commercial mixed berry e-liquids and I've found it a bit overpowering.

And hey *disclaimer* I am a newbie juice mixer too so take anything I say with a grain of salt!

I've made a few (successful) recipes so far, but there's so much to learn! I guess like with anything else, a lot of it's trial and error.

I do the same thing... putting it on my finger and tasting it first. :p

You might want to give FA - Forrest Fruit Mix (Flavour Art) a try. It is a berry blend that many find good... even as a stand-alone. It is a straw, black, blue, rasp concoction. You can add supplemental flavors (like creams. custards, even citrus) to take it in any direction you desire.

A.P. can add a "nuttiness" at LOW percentages (.25-1.0%). Higher percentages can enter the Frito corn chip zone. That (A.P.), combined with something like Capella's cake batter might get you that toasty (even slightly yeasty?) note you are searching for. Maybe...

I think that mixed berry flavor is actually a profile of its own rather than a combination of constituent berries. I don't think you can get there by combining Ras, Straw, Black, Blue, etc. It's a profile I like, so I've tried all kinds of berry mix flavors (INW, CAP, TFA, FA, and FW all have versions of it), and as IDJoel said, FA Forest Fruit is my favorite.

Berry Mix was one of my preferred Liqua flavors. I vaped a lot of it when I was new to vaping. To me it tasted like the very sweet wild berry juice boxes I used to buy in Mexico for my ESL kids. I liked it at the time, but that was long ago when Liqua was all I knew. It's easy to DIY better than Liqua...

Here're two you can try. The "Berry Berry Good" is not mine, and I cannot for the life of me recall where I found it. If you like Liqua Berry Mix, you will love Berry Berry Good. Creds and many thanks go to the chef who posted it, because it's a permanent fixture in my rotation.

(Unnamed) Berry Mix:
FA Vienna Cream 2%
FA Vanilla Classic 2%
FA Forest Fruit 4%

Oh-ho!!! Thank you soooooo much! I have some FA Forest Fruit here but have not used it yet. I have 75 flavors and figured I would get to it sometime lol

I also have FA Vienna Cream but not FA Vanilla Classic. What would you recommend? I probably have something close.

The Berry Berry Good looks like a winner but I have no VBIC yet (got everything else though). I was putting together another flavor order today and have already added it. May mess around a bit and see what I can come up with. I just happened to be sitting down to mix up a couple of other recipes but maybe I can do something the Forest Fruit instead.

Suggestions always welcome! I have CAP Toasted Almond here for another recipe but don't have A.P. yet.... *sigh* my flavor order is getting bigger

The FA Vanilla Classic is AKA Madagascar, if you have that it's the same. If you don't, any INW or FA straight vanilla (Shisha, Tahity, Classic, etc.) should sub nicely. I think I could have used any of those with near same result. I might go down to 1% if subbing with Tahity or the INWs.

I intentionally didn't use any VBIC/VC/Bavarian Cream in the (unnamed) because sometimes I like to switch up to a sharper bolder flavor. The others will make everything velvety creamy smooth, which is great too. Vape those two mixes side by side and you'll see what I mean. Berry Good is so thick and creamy due to the VBIC in it, while the Forest Fruit is up front and sharp in the (unnamed).

BTW CAP VBIC should work just as well (maybe a bit sweeter) if you have that and want to try subbing.

Ah.... poo. Now it's over 4 hours later and I never did get around to mixing anything... something came up (as it always seems to).

So I don't have any vanilla flav's except for:
Vanilla Custard (3 kinds - CAP V1 and V2 and TPA)
Vanilla Cupcake (CAP)
Vanilla Whipped Cream (CAP)

And I have various creams:
Bavarian Cream (TFA)
Sweet Cream (TFA)
Vienna Cream (FA)

And
Marshmallow (TFA)
Toasted Marshmallow (TFA)

and I also noticed I have a 30 ml bottle of Harvestberry (CAP)
forgot about that, also have not used it yet

LOL - I need some sort of cabinet with adjustable shelves and a door so I can get better organized

I'm going to put an order in for Monday morning (too late for today). I'll get some FA Vanilla Classic and some TFA VBIC (oh and some AP too). I guess I can wait another week to take a kick at Berry Mix. I've got 3 bottles of different mixed berries with creams or cheesecake and custard here - nothing wrong with them, they vape quite nicely but they are just not close at all to LIQUA BERRY MIX (and I've got about 2ml left in my last bottle and I'm trying to hang on to it for taste comparisons).

Ah... I was hoping you'd be able to give me your take on that flav. I guess I can throw something together tomorrow and give it a try. Maybe with some whipped cream or vanilla custard - I like some sort of "creamy" paired with my fruits. I think I'll make one 10ml bottle with Forest Fruit and one with Harvestberry to try side by side. I had a recipe I made up from scratch for a "Cactus Cooler" and wanted to make that today but I'll do all 3 at once tomorrow.

Thanks for the distinction btwn the creamy-smooth and the sharp. In trying to come up with a replicate of Mixed Berry by Jelly, I've been really paying attention to the different notes. It makes my hubby laugh because I close my eyes, take a long pull and slowly exhale through my nose. Drink some water, and then do it through my mouth. Each time it seems like a new flavor shines through. But there is no denying the strawberry, raspberry, toast and butter. I know there are some other notes in there but being so new I can't quite put my finger on it.

I think I'll check out Forest Fruit. I don't think it has any blueberry or grape notes in it, so I'm not sure.
The Liqua flavor sounds really good too!

An interesting concoction I came up with was a mixture of Green Apple, Honeydew and Strawberry. I always recommend starting with standalone flavors that you got just right for your taste buds and then try mixing a tank full to test them together. Wasting 1 or 2 ML's is nothing if it doesn't work but also leaves the door open to giving it an interesting twist my throwing in some coconut on a whim.

Vape On Safely and Mix Accurately!
