Hi Danny, have you tried it 10% ? If not, you might very well like it because you have said in the past that you like your tobaccos on the high side. I like mine in the middle and find 10% to be medium-high.

I found 2 - 3% perfect so I don't see a need to go higher.

is the ecx tobacco abs the same as tpa's(discontinued)?

I'm not sure if it's the same as tpa's discontinued or not but I think I read somewhere that it comes from China. I'm not sure though and hopefully someone who knows will chime in.

I just got a 10ml bottle of ecx ta in the mail today. If I read the posts here correct I mix the 1ml to a 50/50 mix of pg/pga so 1 ml and 4.5 ml each pg/pga to make 10ml. Also I do not know where to get pga from around here so is there something else I can use instead??

My understanding is that the ecx is already 50% diluted, so if you're going for a 10 percent solution you'd need 2ml to 8ml base. I don't have PGA either so I mix in vg. Warm the ta in water or nuke it for 3 or 4 seconds to mix. Pg might work better if you have that, or a mix of pg/vg if you want to match the pg/vg ratio of your base. I get some separation with the Rustica but I just warm and shake before using and I haven't had a problem so far.

The only thing to watch is if you're using a bigger tank like 5ml or so you might want to watch leaving it overnight because you probably would get a little separation.

You should be able to get PGA from your nearest liquor store. I don't because it's usually around $10 and I don't have any other use for it other than to drink it and, and although I do like it pretty good, it's not my favorite mixer lol.

You do not need any pga for the stuff from ECX. It's already 50% diluted with pga. All you do is to make a 10% solution using pg. Treat that as your concentrated. IMO it is better than the old TA from TFA.

Yeah I do not think I would like Virginia TA. I do not care for grassy/hay like flavorings.:nah: I also was thinking maybe Wera Garden's TA Cuban Cigar and TA Garuda??o_O Any thoughts??

JD1 I ended up doing 1ml of Cuban Supreme and 9ml of PG - thinking this will be close enough if used at 1%.:)
Grassy/hay is the terms most used for the most basic part of tobacco flavors. It differs with the different types of tobaccos but it's very much present in all good tobacco flavors, including your Cuban Supreme. My least favorite, even when they get it right, is the virginia flue cured or fire cured type flavors.

I'd think those two Inawera flavors would surely be worth a try. They both get a lot of good reviews. I have and love the TA Cuban Cigar and the Garuda is on my list. :vapor:

Yeal, I'd say test that at 1 bottle drop per 1.5 ml of base and adjust from there.

I ordered mine from the Samara company. Is it possible to mix this one without the PGA?

Not really. Samara's Rustica is very thick and hard to dissolve in pg alone. If you do not have access to 190 proof, you can try 150 proof - or even vodka. You will need more time to let the paste dissolve in the mixture.

Ok and thanks exchaner!

I saw earlier in the thread that you can get it already mixed with the alcohol? But I have not been able to locate it on google.

You can get other TA's mixed with alcohol but not Rustica. Also I forgot to mention if you use vodka, do not exceed 20% since otherwise you will have too much water in your mix.

Sounds good. What is the best source for TA's mixed with alcohol? I have ordered flavoring from various places but have been looking for a good source for the TA's.

I got mine from Ecig Express and happy with it. Others like Danny recommend Mother's milk. Haven't tried that one yet.
