Anyone been using the Samara long enough to be able to comment how much it varies year to year?

Oops, I wasn't clear. I am curious how the absolute might vary from batch year to batch year. I very much like what I got and figure its from 2014 from my reading.
Yes , read that. Because we are using it differently than a perfumery I'm just curious.
I wonder why anyone would want tobacco notes in a perfume??![]()

Does anyone know if Mother's Milk makes their own TA, or do they buy it elsewhere? Nothing on their website answers that question one way or another.
The only PGA that was available is the 151 proof (Michigan). I picked up some of that today.
My plan is to mix the 5 ml of Rustica paste, in 45 ml of 50/50 PGA & PG. That should yield 50 ml of 10% solution.
I've never used PGA in any of my mixes before. Does it require any cap off / air time, while steeping?
Thanks
I guess I'll just have to see how difficult the paste is to work with, and make a decision at that time.
The 50/50 PGA & PG was from Danny's post on page 2: "as a side note a base of 50% PG and 50% PGA works the best. Otherwise you may get a cloudy mix due to the poor desolving of the TA materal into the base."
I'm on the north side of 60.
