When I am making a new batch using unflavored nic juice I add between 10 & 20% Virginia Fire Cured flavor enhance. My base liquid is 36mg PG, I add 40% VG. When I cut 36mg TW Virginia I add 45% VG and 5% flavorings to produce 18mg juice.

I am no expert with DIY and this new Seedman's flavor enhancers. I am still experimenting. If you are cutting the premixed Virginia you should be able to get by with very little added flavor enhancer. But everyone will have their own taste.

Kevin

Cool just ordered the 3 of the enhancers and one of the conac :) Interested to try the Virgina Fire Cured. Thanks

No, thank you Dan. This thread solved my problems. I'm just getting into this. You guys don't need to be following me. Although I will report on my final mix ( I've bought some PGA and have started adding that to pick up the hit). I'm still learning.

Now Ive got to figure out how to make all that Morolb and nilia I bought turn into something I will like.

Away..
One thing I haven't seen posted.
Using the TOB506 Commercial as an example, it has sub codes A, B, C, D
The first 3 are pre diluted and "D" is concentrate for $28.

So.....are you mixing the diluted or the concentrate in the .5ml -9.5ml formula?
I ordered the premixed and it seems to have very little to no odor , very thin, and no taste from a fingers touch taste test. Vaping can be diff.

The dilute is only 25% flavor and 75% distiled water from what I can gather.

Thanks in advance

The diluted, I must order one of the 28 dollar concentrates and see how much is needed.

I thought I would paste the seedman prices in here.

TOB505A Pre-mixed 2 ounce bottle of flavoring in Plastic Misting/Spray Bottle, ready to apply directly to tobacco. Flavors 1 pound of tobacco. $5.00

TOB505C Pre-mixed 4 ounce bottle of flavoring in Plastic Bottle, ready to apply directly to tobacco. This is economical re-fill for Misting Bottles, flavors 2 pounds of tobacco.$7.50

TOB505D 7½ ounce concentrate in handy "Measure and Pour" Bottle. Mix ½ ounce of this concentrate with 1½ ounces of distilled water and make your own flavoring. This bottle will flavor 15 pounds of Tobacco. $28.50

All flavors have the same prices.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but... 2 ounces is about 60ml, give or take a drop... making the cost only about 8 cents a mil.

I just placed an order for 4 different flavors. Can't wait to try them.
Thanks for the post Dan! :thumb:

I mix Captain Black, a little Honey, a little Cherry(twice as much as Honey) and a little fire cured(about as much as Cherry), and it is a pretty good pipe or cigar flavor.
I'm not a fan of the commercial flavoring by itself, but then again, cigarettes taste like poo after you quit.

Thats just my opinion.

This thread inspired me to work on a recipe. My son and I generally like the Mboro *except* for an overtone of a sour taste. Coming back home after work, the house smelled of it as well.

I bought the seedman commercial, honey, VA fire cured and licorice "flavors" and bingo! The sour we don't like is exactly the VA fire cure.

I've mixed a recipe that has tobacco tones much like the Mboro but without the sour flavor.

For 30 ml:

7 drops flavourart burley
2 drops flavourart virginia
2 drops flavourart desert ship
2 ml seedman commercial

The balance is your choice of PG/VG/PGA, but we like

10 ml 60 mg PG NIC
10 ml VG
5 ml PG
5 ml PGA

Tastes like we want the Mboro to taste!
