I didn't really "get" this for the first few weeks of vaping.
Now, however, I'm enjoying "tongue" hits as much as throat hits.
When you are drawing on your PV, instead of your tongue resting in the bottom of your mouth like it would while smoking an analog, try placing it almost directly over the airspot, where the vapor emits from the mouthpiece. In my case, it's a single hole 901 cart on a 501.
Then try moving your tongue and putting a different part of your tongue on the airhole. Not BLOCKING it, mind you, just being a tiny bit over it, so the vapor hits almost directly on your tongue first.
There are different taste buds located in various areas of your tongue. Placing a different part of your tongue near the intake gives a whole new taste than earlier draws.
If you haven't tried "tongue hits," you're missing out.
