Since when??? The V2 drippers don't come with a bottom feed option... o_O

All this Origen talk made me want to dig mine out and throw a mesh build in them... :vapor:

I would rather use the Sat22 though, it's a quick and easy to build with great flavor!

While you are correct about Origen v2 and v3, we were talking about Origen Little 16 mm. That one was designed as a straight rda with the squonk pin option.

My bad, she had the V2 pictured just before that post, so I just assumed.
Teach me to get behind in the postings...

Been running my Origen Little 16 with a 1.2 ohm single coil made from twin twisted 30 gauge Kanthal wound round a 2.5mm rod. So far I've tried it on a MVP 20W, a Smpl and a Tesla 2 4000 mah. It's really nice - amazing flavour and certainly enough vapour for my needs. Battery life also holds up well. Coil should last for ages - it's very sturdy.

I'm going to have to try this in my Origen 16 and see how it turns out. Might have to use a little Ekowool inside the mesh for better wicking.

That sure looks interesting, please tells us how it works out. BTW, is that 400 mesh?

So am I understanding correctly that the best way to use mesh wick is to also use some cotton or rayon in the juice well?

No. It depends on the deck. As this is a dripper, a supply of liquid to the wick is beneficial. In a Genny, not so much...

My take on that particular coil/mesh/rayon combo is that it is a hybrid coil/wick. Traditionally mesh was the only wicking material used, but who am I to tell? Maybe some of the veterans with mesh experience will chime in.

I also have that tank but still haven't used it, those pictures perfectly show how I should use my metal wick. I have my wicks ready all rolled up and fired . Guess I'll give it a go today, thanks!

Does on wrap the coil around the mesh or just feed it in as one does with cotton or rayon?

A lot wrap the mesh. There is also the Petar K method wherein the coils are installed, then the mesh inserted. I prefer Petar K with larger gauge wires, and wrapping the mesh with smaller...

People still use mesh? Why?
a. Because they want to,
b. Flavor,
c. Because they can,
d. Just curious to see how it was in the relatively old days of vaping,
e. Why not?
f. Why do things the easy way (cotton, rayon) when you can complicate yourself!
