Where'd everyone run off to ? That's right, it's Saturday night, they're prolly out "Cutt'in a Rug" or something exciting like that.

watching ghost adventures. actually, my wife is watching it while I read. does that count as exciting?

I can't believe I didn't think of the pipe cleaners with metal in them. Hub already has some. Will try it out now along with a toothbrush

With metal? Is that strands of metal mixed in with the cotton or whatever?
The core is twisted with little strands of metal poking straight out.

Almost like mini barbed wire.

But more like a spaced, almost random stiff bristle.

He still smokes a pipe occasionally (just quit cigs for vaping and is dual using). He's definitely not using his wood pipes for other purposes!

Those were the kind I used to clean out my pipe stems, and the soft ones to later catch the debris left over.
