I promise to never use more than one wire at a time ever again!

I guess I just want less clouds, but more flavour if that's possible. I suppose Claptons give *more* cloud... I'll have to find an alternate solution!

@Droz, up your PG for more flavor, less clouds. VG dulls flavors. You can get killer flavor with the right ratio and much less wattage.

Yes ^^^ (I almost forgot about the PG until you mentioned it), when I started using a 50/50 PG/VG and noticed better flavor than 70/30 VG/PG or 80/20 VG/PG and certainly better than 90 or above VG. Recently I have switched from a 50/50 mix to a 60/40 PG/VG mix and notice better flavor still.

@52anddone, I stick to 70pg/30vg. Unless I see an ad for a juice flavor I just can't resist. Like the "Buttered pralines and cream with salted caramel" I just received. I use 18mg, but this yummy is only 6mg. It's for cloud chasers and drippers.

Get an rta that has a small airhole under the deck, 1.5 mm or less, small deck and tight short chimney.

The classics:
  • Kayfun light
  • Erlkonigin
  • Squape
  • Rose
  • Spheroid/heron
  • Phenomenon lite
  • A lot more :)
Any of those will produce great flavor w a good juice and a simple kanthal build

How many mods are on your night stand?

None...and that prolly goes back to the ole "no smoking in bed rule" I followed when I smoked.:)
I do have my vape ready for me on the dining room table for when I first get up in the morning.

I never smoked in bed/in the bedroom either. My vape is right beside the coffee pot in the kitchen for when I get up :D

@sorrynomore I have to add another suggestion. Vicks makes a personal vaporizer that fits over the nose and mouth. Do not use Vicks or any other aromatic in it. (Per my Pulmonologist) The hot steam can kill virus and bacterial infections. And for @RainSong the dry heat low moisture can cause infections. For everybody you can find a very inexpensive, non addicting simple saline nasal spray. The nose sprays that contain meds can be addicting and cause a very bad rebound effect. Sorry, lots more than 2 cents.
Thanks Zen!
And thanks to all for the kind thoughts/suggestions on sinus remedies.
I'm feeling a tad better today...well enough to go out and get some groceries this afternoon.
Vaping some diluted 8Track tobacco mix I bought the other week, kinda odd tasting stuff sorta meh so far...Definitely not WOW this is GREAT juice by any means (to me).

Lots of good suggestions above, Droz.

In general, the PG will carry the flavor, the VG will produce the clouds. I mix to about 65/35 PG/VG, use primarily KF2 type toppers, and build with single 30 gauge Kanthal - 7 wraps on a 2 mm rod for about 1.6 ohms. Good flavor, reasonable vapor. Some similar build on your Cthulu may work for you (we're all different ;) )

I still don't understand why diluted white vinegar soaking isn't popular. Alcohol is more chemically abrasive. I mix about one part to ten parts of clean water. No smell and its clean. An hour bath. Good for the bottles, too.

Does that take the smell out of used plastic bottles?

You can use as many wires as you want to Droz, I was just pull'in your chain a bit. ;) Claptons are something that I have been looking at myself for a while, but what always has stopped me from using a Clapton is that you have to use a lot more power to light them up compared to single, or even twisted wires (30g Kanthal and smaller is what I normally use). I don't make my own twisted or Clapton wires, I use store bought wire and coil it myself, so my selection is more limited on buying Claptons than if I made them myself. I always got really good flavor when using twisted 30g Kanthal from "UD", you can buy it in 30 foot spools at several places, and I would run a 3mm, 6-8 wrap coil at from 12 to 16 watts and got good flavor and good battery life even on single 18650 battery mods. If you want to use even less power and a twisted wire then use twisted 32g Kanthal from "UD" and use a 3mm ID coil (or 2.5mm, or even 2mm) and 5 to 8 wraps at about 6 to 10 watts. A double twisted wire coil (I have found) always gave me better flavor than a single wire coil. I always use a spaced coil also, I haven't used a contact coil for over a year now, because I believe that a spaced coil also gives better flavor than a contact coil does.

I always used contact coils in Pro Tanks and spaced coils in everything else. Can't remember why, probably I read something in a post once and it worked so I stuck with it.

Recently got a Coil Master. That produces better looking coils than I could make on a drill bit, especially with getting straighter legs on the coil. But they always come out as contact coils. Do you know, or anyone else, if it's possible to make spaced coils on a Coil Master?

Easy peasy spaced coils on the Coil master. There is a vid somewhere, unfortunately I don't remember where I saw it. Basically just wind your coil, grab one end pull it to separate the coils, then push back together. It will leave slightly spaced coils.

Wow! Poor thing! Did they treat him badly over it? Is it, at least, on record now so it doesn't happen again?
It was part of family lore, so I just heard the story as I was growing up, he's been gone a long time now.

Pistashio RY4 -
I seriously love that stuff. Also kind of obsessed with an apple RY4.

prolly out "Cutt'in a Rug" or something exciting like that.
I was out playing Cards Against Humanity at the bar, it's a very funny and inappropriate card game. I overindulged on the adult beverages and my head is pounding this morning. My lungs feel great though, used to be sitting at the bar meant chain smoking and sore lungs and throat. Not anymore!

Definitely going to try this next time I build.

Happy Sunday TPs!

The couple contact(micro) coils I tried I didn't like them or burnt the wicking inside the coil. I don't see the theory of juice vaporization with coils that are tightly bound together but some swear by them. I space my clapton coils, no matter how small the space and I think I get a much better vape.

My vape sits on the island with my glasses. Its funny with smoking your clamoring to get that first morning smoke lit before anything else and NOBODY get in my way or get bowled over. With vaping I can wait for my coffee to brew so I can have a few sips to lubricate the throat then sit down to enjoy some vapes.

I saw that too in different places but even with fingernails I can't get it nice enough. I also saw a vid of someone who put a chunk of looped wire between and produced a spaced coil, tried that too but couldn't figure how they did it. I then just gave up. I just use fine thread bolts to make my spaced coils.

I wind my nickel coils loosely spaced by hand on the Coil Master and then push the coils together... makes a nicely spaced coil. Wrapping 28ga nickel on the Coil Master, using the whole jig setup is a bit of a challenge because the wire is so soft.
