woohoo!

how often do you order from FT? I've had it take anywhere from 11 days to 84 days.

they do have some of the best customer service I've ever dealt with.
My purchasing from there kind of ebbs and wanes. I could order from every 2 weeks to every 2 months depending on what I'm looking for. And most of the stuff are things that I can wait for. The package I'm getting today though just kind of disappeared into thin air though.
Yeah, their customer service is top notch! When I created the ticket, it was less than 12 hours before I received a reply which I thought was pretty good with the time zone difference.

@h00ligan, funny you should post this today. I have pretty much gotten out of the market of buying any new RTAs because every new one I tried could never compete against my beloved classics. So only purchases I've made for RTAs over the past months have been classics in the classies or stockup of KF or Erl gear from FT or Spheroid gear from classies or GP site.

But kept hearing about the SXK version of the DoggyStyle and how it matched all my criteria:

  • Simple single wire coils of 26 gauge or smaller
  • Above 1 ohm builds
  • Airflow coming from below coil with a 2 mm max path from AFC ring to inlet below coil
  • Small/tight deck
  • Short/tight chimney
  • Produces excellent flavor
Got that sucker in just yesterday, built it out and what a fantastic surprise. It meets all my criteria above with a 1.5 mm hole on the deck!! Easy to build, wick, AFC. Absolutely pleased and loving it at the moment. Still early on but very, very promising.

And looks incredible, size of nano KF or the Pico, with simple, elegant beauty.

Two thumbs up from me on the SXK Doggy.

Right on!!

I bought the sjmy version and it is relatively good. I like options and felt the 1.5 mm sub chimney would mean I'd use it wide open but I think the two versions probably vape very similarly. I may try the other version as I agree on your overall impressions of the tank. I may look for an original depending how hard they are to find and what I can shift to pay for one. Feels a little weird having a clone tank on this costly of a mod but hey whatever works.

I'm going to list A lot of gear very soon and try some new things, but all in all for the ten bucks it IS hard to find fault with the sjmy clone either. If I had one complaint that would apply to all versions including the original it would the the way the chimney mounts. On the sjmy at least it's very easy to get off center when mounting it and push out the top o ring.

I have a couple of the One to one pico clones with the artisan metal chambers which drives the clone cost up to fifty bucks or so and the doggy blows the pico away imo. In every way.

All of a sudden all of my tanks seem way too tall and old looking. Things like the mark bugs gem even. The gem and wae combo is a great looking combo but on other mods it seems too long. I wish there were more tanks like the doggy. All this liquid control and top fill is making mtl tanks huge.

I purchased 2 Nectar tanks from FT on the 28th of March and they were shipped out on March 30th. Tracking update showed it was processed through the Beijing facility on April 3rd. Opened a ticket with FT and they were going to check into it. No other updates from that point on. Last night, I get a text alert that the package had arrived in Greensboro. Overnight I get a text that the package had arrived here and now it's out for delivery. Yay!! Almost a month since the item was shipped. I hope I get to see them before I go to work. :)

This nectar? I have to say I love this tank for what it is. Now it's funny you would mention it a si just got mine back out to build. It looks sharp on the minimus

If this is what you ordered is this one I think you're in for a treat. Don't make the mistake I did and put the fill plug in the wrong hole then melt it slightly by accident. Oops. I have to see if I have spare for it. I think there was a spare plug in there maybe. Let me know if yours arrives with a spare full plug would you? It will save me a lot of time digging if you tell me it doesn't come with one. :). Cheers mate! (I'll check fasttech and see if a spare is listed or shown in their pics)

:danger:

This mod is beautiful. What's its name? (I googled doggystyle but nada).

The mod is a mm vapors minimus. This is the last fully wood one they will ever make sadly. There are several, versions if you look on YouTube for some reviews. One reviewer said he had door problems but mine is perfect. I'm lucky I have a good eco friend who sorted me out on this and is as able to choose the block and go through the whole new process. My first time. I'm really happy with the outcome.

Thanks for the love!

Here is one video discussing it. YouTube has several of the high profile reviewers cover g it and the newer mod the squeezer. The mod weighs about two ounces only without battery. One thing I didn't expect was stabilized wood mods to be so light. I don't know if they all are but this one is super light and amazingly balanced.

His price was out of date before he even published it. It's €450 fwiw. In case you run across some used so you don't expect. Slower price than you'll likely get.

I like the design of Doggystyle; well engineered and goes together well without any hokey-ness.

Vape Mail!!!

Some reason I can't upload my own pics right now  but I just got in the Sigeili 75w. Great mod for only $15. Only complaint I have is with the KF5 there is a slight gap / overhang on it due to the fact the mod curves downward at the edge. (I can't stop looking at that when I vape)

Problem solved though. It is now my new mod for my Nautilus mini, and it works and looks great on it. Bought it from Eight Vape. So if you have a small atty that needs a mod to call home, for $15 it's a great deal.

For $15 that is a real bargain, I think I paid 3x that much at the time.

The reason I don`t use it is because of the...

First world problems eh ? ;)
Yeah, that's funny. It was the first thing I noticed, it's not the first mod to make that mistake. It's crazy to think things like that pass R&D. You would think a 22mm would fit fine on it. Oh well. It gives a new fresh look to my N mini.

So here's what I settled on for now. Today's tootle puffing setup is the cloudmods cloud one v2 on the minimus. But with the stainless tank.

665516d81a5095cb6a327c5085af2fc9.jpg

I'll get he real camera out one day. Phone camera is distorting a bit and making it look longer up top fisheye correction syndrome .

I'm a happy vaper today. .

Some observation on the mod or specifically the chip :

I l initially wanted to get a dna75 version but decided I had s couple of those and didn't feel paying more for the DNA was worth it. Once again I've arrived at the conclusion the yihi chipset is better than evolv chipset for power delivery. The initial "rattlesnake" issue from the original 350j chip in temp control seems to be remedied and temp control seems way more accurate on this chip than the evolv on which I consistently have to turn the temp way up. In power mode it feels stronger too , not stronger more power stronger smoother.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the 350j v2 chipset and I'm a bit surprised everyone is all about the dna75 compared to this one. I really like the chip after all and am very happy I didn't pay more for another DNA chip given my new experiences.

Anyway good for thought for anyone considering between evolv or yihi. Obviously everyone has opinions and yes the evolv is more customizable but I find their sample rate being so high seems to cause more issues than provide increased accuracy. This chip seems to find the right balance where the first generation didn't sample enough.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy the tootle puffs while relaxing and what not. :)

This looks like something I'm gonna have to try. It looks like the air flow can be tightened down pretty good. I like a restricted draw.
Is this the one you have. $14.00 SXK Doggy Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml / stainless steel + PC / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Interesting... I've been considering getting a DNA device lately after having been using the ArcticFox firmware and toolbox on a few different mods. Seems like the devices lack a bit of consistency between one another. Kind of a small sample set to judge by, but I also realize they are cheap devices and expect inherent limitations like that. The ArcticFox firmware definitely takes the devices to a new level. I'm assuming the DNA will be a step above (or a few steps). I'll also take a look at the Yihi 350j v2 now.

That's the oneness has. I have the other. The airflow tightens down just as tight on the sjmy. It comes with a higher grade tank but no drip tip.

Ime there isn't much of a difference between tanks when you close them down and the lower chimney or deck air hole is within half a mm so if base a decision on reviews of the fit and finish etc. the sxk may be better than my smjy. I didn't go with it because I felt it wouldn't offer enough options for air flow but the build quality may be better or not. They're both highly rated. The sjmy is $10 with coupon. So you could try one if each. They're cheap enough.

Just some thoughts. I don't propose he sjmy is better in any way except the tank material.
