It's mucho more dinero... oh, wait, this is America... I meant to say Намного больше денег, but the Gyrfalcon will do just about any cell you wanna tuck into it... I've really enjoyed mine: GYRFALCON All-44 4 Channel Digital Battery Charger

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

I liked the xtar one that had USB out and only 2 bays. I don't need 4 bays.

But I really really liked that ego port on the nitecore i2

I'm gonna say this out loud here because I feel like this is the only place on the forum I can say this without getting browbeat...

I LOVE my high capacity ego battery - like I love it more than any piece of vape gear I have ever purchased. It lasts all day and it just works.

BTW how's your pup? Diabetis still under control?
Doing good. :) Still giving him shots twice a day, over 3 1/2 years now. It's a pain, but we love him.

I can't comprehend vaping at below 5 watts. Can't be much vapor produced.
More than you think. It's all about wire size, I am using 33 ga wire, heats fast at low voltage, if it was 28 ga wire it would not work at that low a voltage.

Maybe I'll try that. It's probably just a matter of practice. I was never very good at installing coils. I got in the habit of leaving coils installed once I got one right and just rewicking forever.

Hey mick, that's exactly what I do. The only time that I change coils is when I want to experiment with a new design, like going from NiCr to Kanthal or from a single 28g or 30g wire to a dual twisted 30g Kanthal coil, but all that said, if I just leave the same coil in and re-wick it then I can go for the better part of a year and just do dry burns to clean the coil up, then re-wick. I have so much wire here that I will never use, If I don't experiment with different coil designs. A person will get better and better at coil making using the Coil Master as time passes, I know I have, that's how I make my dual twisted 30g Kanthal coils and have absolutely no problems at all now ( I use a Coil Master V3 and couldn't live with out it), and all my coils I do spaced.

Keep reading, and watching. things will eventually begin to click. Sometimes it takes awhile then the light will come on. :)

In my case (too many times it seems), The Lights on, but Nobody's Home. What do you say to that oplholik ?;)

Glad your pup is doing so well…it's all due to your diligent care.

Wow, 33 gauge is so fine. Is it hard to coil with it?

I just rebuild when I rewick. every time I do a dryburn, my coils turn gray. even at REALLY low watts. like...i have to hold down the fire button till the 10 second feature kicks in, then do it again real quick. tried dunking in water, scrubbing before I dryburn, I dunno. wires cheap and rebuilding is therapeutic, so i don't mind.

I use mostly 30 (although I used to use 32 in PT type heads, better fit for the ohms I wanted), and vape around 7 1/2 - 8 1/2 watts depending on the particular flavor. Agree, the faster ramp up/down of the smaller gauges doesn't need as much power for a good vape.

Over time, whatever you build will slowly creep up in resistance. Now, that might be a few months, or a year, or... ;) But if it gets too high for your tastes before you destroy it when re-wicking, yup, coils themselves can go a long time with routine maintenance.

so I just got a nitecore charger and it's making a noise and getting really hot.

The only mod I have is the kBox mini and it only goes down to 7W. I wish it would go a tad lower.

If you can find any Wismec Presa's (either a 75w 18650, or the bigger 100w 26650) they will go down to 1 watt in power mode. I have both the 75w TC and the 100w TC, but run both in power mode with coils anywhere from 1Ω up to 2Ω.

Have the 75TC, nice mod. Hard to find now... IIRC, the 100 comes with an adapter sleeve to allow use of 18650s.

Yes, you are correct David. I like using the 26650 at home just to be able to go for 2+ days between battery changes (I set it at between 8 to 10 watts usually).

Three 75s are part of my rotation - of 10 or so mods and toppers loaded and ready. I like to change up flavors, frequently  . The way I vape, a fresh 18650 will easily last a tank (full size KF, so about 4 mls), and with 10+ in rotation, a tank usually is good for a few days ;)

I think FT may still have the 75 as well, and Vapecrawler did come up with a few sites that still claim to have it (the 75) in stock.

I just checked and found that FT only had the 100 watter in stock, that's the first place I looked.
