I think I'm gonna try mixing up some 70/30, PG this time around instead of my usual 50/50 just to see if It helps with the phlegm buildup. I had to get away from using 80/20, VG and Max VG mixes quite some time ago due to a tight and heavy feeling chest, and that's when I went to a 50/50 mix. We shall see.

I'll be upping my pg ratios a bit to see if it helps reduce my phlemy type cough.I can't vape max vg for more than a few puffs as it makes me feel like I'm suffocating kinda/sorta.
Going to a 50/50 mix helped alot except for that niggly cough.Gonna try 55pg/45vg next to see if things improve more.

I have a dual Twisted 30g Kanthal A-1, 3mm, 6 wrap build in my Siren 22mm and am TC'ing it. These HΩ tech mods are Amazing to me, and by far The Best Mods I have ever used.

Really ?? Hmmm, I have the same cough and been using a 50/50 mix for over a year now. Interesting.

I start getting the phlegmy condition at 50/50, so mix to about 65/35 PG/VG. We're all different, and, imo, what our bodies will handle may change over time as well. Some allergies or allergy type reactions take time to show up, too. But changing the ratio - especially if you diy - is a pretty simple thing to do as a "test".

I got a brand new one today and scratched it within an hour.

It's what I do. [emoji15]

Good thinking. That way you're not always vaping in fear of that first scratch!

Welcome aboard, @mdmccormick , aka Mike!

I prefer higher pg just cos the flavors better but although this is 93 percent vg it's lovely and I'm suprised. They were selling 30ml bottles cheap cos of regulations so got a few. Still on my first bottle I opened a week ago. This isub apex mini dunt guzzle juice as all, when I used to sub ohm was biggest problem.
This is a bit like an mtl sub ohm, love the draw and fir the price is great. I am vaping at 30 watts, very high for me

I was at 50/50 and it really helped, but, the phlegmy problem you just alluded to I also have. I have upped my mix to 60/40 PG and that (I think) helped me even more but didn't cure it, so am gonna try a 80/20 PG mix next time I think. It will be real runny in the summer so will have to watch my wicking for sure.

Yes your folks have joined the tootle puffers. If you remember that the MTL tanks really need 70vg/30pg to operate at their best. Per PROVAPE and ZEN for the KABUKI. I track when I change coils, I can go 3 months on my daily use kabuki.

good to know.
i had a 80vg juice in my kabuki and i had to primer puff a lot...
thought i put in a juice that was pg heavy, but when i looked up online the juice was actually 70vg and the tank is wicking nice.

have your tried 50/50 in the kabuki?
wondering if that's gonna cause leaking issues.

I gotta agree mike I used to use the baby beast and was very harsh on the chest, welcome to the mtl club mike :)

Hi and thanks :), I've been back to MTL for a week now and have not felt any chest issues this week, I don't think it's a coincidence

I have seasonal affective disorder, get very depressed in the winter and manic in the summer. It's coupled with bipolar but I seem to be the same with vaping! My condition has been stable for a while, but I vape with mood an that includes the weather amongst pg/vg ratio!
