T for Texas!
Amen to that! I've gone through about 15ml this week, I used to vape 30ml per day!

So, if vaping is foremost about harm reduction, then the simple logic is you reduce risk the less chemicals you put in your body. This is something that should be discussed more in the community.

Hello and good morning everyone

Apologies, DocMike, but I thought that I too had given the obligatory "Welcome" via Tapatalk last night.

So, WELCOME! As @Krisma said, we'd offer you a wristband (but I stole them all). AND @Katdarling lost the spreadsheet.

That's how I see it, TT.

I vape to not smoke, although I do still vape at 18 mg/ml nic (nic without out combustion products is being shown to be about as harmful as coffee, and also being shown to be (perhaps, research continues) actually beneficial for certain ailments. That's my escuse, and I'm stickin' with it! ;) ). As an mtl tootler, I've found success for some 4 1/2 years now at being an EX-smoker. My morning chest rattle went away after less than two weeks off cigs, dentist says my gums are better, and so on.

I also keep my flavor % as low as I can and still have a good tasting vape. Less "stuff" inhaled, coils don't gunk as quickly, and cheaper!

I think I'm gonna try mixing up some 70/30, PG this time around instead of my usual 50/50 just to see if It helps with the phlegm buildup. I had to get away from using 80/20, VG and Max VG mixes quite some time ago due to a tight and heavy feeling chest, and that's when I went to a 50/50 mix. We shall see.

I'll be upping my pg ratios a bit to see if it helps reduce my phlemy type cough.I can't vape max vg for more than a few puffs as it makes me feel like I'm suffocating kinda/sorta.
Going to a 50/50 mix helped alot except for that niggly cough.Gonna try 55pg/45vg next to see if things improve more.

I was at 50/50 and it really helped, but, the phlegmy problem you just alluded to I also have. I have upped my mix to 60/40 PG and that (I think) helped me even more but didn't cure it, so am gonna try a 80/20 PG mix next time I think. It will be real runny in the summer so will have to watch my wicking for sure.

GRRRR. Being a professor who practiced for 20 years before going into teaching to help the profession, this makes me angry.

I'm out here in the land of cacti and tumbleweed. It was over 100 today. Hold onto your sweat glands, summer is coming.

There are a few snowflakes in the forecast for tomorrow.

Try it, the worst thing to happen is it make no difference.

I find the temperature make a difference for me. I am find with 50/50 in the summer. Need 70/30 the rest of the year. I tested it when driving home from SC. I had been vaping a juice that was giving me problems at home on the trip with no problems. The throat feeling came back when I hit the VA border.

Your pic is so good it made me try again with mine. Dragged my drip tip drawers out into the light. That helped a lot! Still blurry though.

Oh, good you're back. Glad we didn't scare you off ;)

This is the first time I've been in here this early, and on a Saturday morn'in no less. Now I see how the pages are a flying by. Wow !! Not used to this fast paced living. "Life in the Fast Lane" I guess ??
Me neither…since I retired :)

Imo, likely not a coincidence, but....
You did change two variables - the ratio and the amount. Huge clouds come from huge amounts of juice being vaporized, so it's also possibly a factor. Which is, of course, another benefit of tootling - more time between refills!
And a lot less expensive!

Down to 6mg, WAS planning to go lower, but nope, nada, staying here. Works for me!
