I was in the same spot last month, they closed my division. Good news is unlike the last time I was searching for a job for 3 months with a terrible market, it has definitely improved. Luckily I had a few offers from feelers I put out and ended up getting transferred to another division.

While I was still in that unknown status before the offer, a friend of mine put it perfect. One door closes another one opens. In the meantime your in the hallway which kind of sucks while your there. But you'll notice a number of doors to choose from. Just put yourself in a position where you could choose the door you want to go through. Good luck.

That mantra has been going through my head today, that one door closes and another one opens.
I wonder how much my ejuice consumption will increase while I wait!

On a serious Rayonati note, I'm thinking about playing with some, any tips specific to RDTAs?

Each deck design will have it's quirks. Needs to be tighter than cotton. May (or may not, depending on topper) need to thin the tails.

At least you still have a job. I lost mine today :(

Dang, not good, but as mentioned, perhaps a brighter future with a change.

And how do you know how double - knit pants taste like Mr DP?

Vape mail for me today also... Stunning! I love it @Katdarling, just a hair taller than an iStick 30 and same width, WITH an external battery. Perfect IMO ergonomically.

Thanks so much for your post and letting me know about it! There will be another in my near future :)

That is the sxk doggy style available from fasttech for $10 with coupon code MAP

I hate to tempt you but someone convinced me to try one for $10... I now have a 1/2 dozen and spares... Yep, it's that good if you love a good mtl tank.

This will also force me to slow down on vape gear procurement. Time to really get to know all my vape gear. Who knows, I may *gasp* be absolutely content with what I have!

Just wondering why some coils "pop" more than others? Does it have to do with the wattage level in which you're vaping, the ohm level of the coil, the juice, or something else?

I just rebuilt one of my RDAs and was thinking the exact same thing! I always attributed it to poor wicking, but I dunno. I hate wicking new coils. lol

Exactly why I left the "tempting" threads for awhile. Get to know what I have (I have a lot!) and stop seeking new. I am very happy with what I have and new stuff was disappointing (high watt, sub ohm airy DTL is Not for me).

Yea, there is that. No vape mail is depressing :(:|:facepalm:

At least I've finally found a handful of recipes that I love (after trying over 80 different recipes, can you say picky?!). Now I am done procuring flavors. I only have to replenish the few flavors I use. Today, I've been dripping as many recipes as my palate will allow to thin down the 80 juices I know I'll never get to. Thank goodness I stocked up on nic and have recently switched to 6 mg juice, my stash will last even longer!

I've got a handful of solid recipes now that I mix 60-120ml at a time but there's always something going in the steep basket in the tester size. I spend entirely too much time looking through recipes and flavor notes. Bull City has become my most ordered from vendor, at least once a week.

I am thinking it may be the placement height of the coil? I try to stay with the top of the coil even with the top of the post or a little lower.

Dunno know if that's the answer but I experience very little popping.

:)

I was in the same boat of losing my job last year at this time. I never dreamed that I would be terminated there but my group leader and team leader were determined to get rid of me so they did. I won't ever forget that drive home that afternoon wondering as a single parent how the bills were going to be paid. I was out of work for almost 2 months before I found another. Having unemployment checks helped but it wasn't enough to pay the bills. I'm not going to say the job I have now was better than that one though. Less pay but closer to home.

Popping is generally caused by either having the wick too loose in the coils - allows for e-liquid to fill a space where is will not fully vaporize...

Or, accidentally wicking with popcorn kernels...

I bet that was a very stressful time, indeed. I have the unfortunate position of living in a city where good jobs are scarce. I may have to end up commuting to San Fran, but I'm going to try to stay in town, if possible. For the next few days I'm going to lick my wounds and polish my resume.

Same here. Good paying jobs are non existent in this town and that was/is why 75% of the people in this town travel 40 mins to an hour one way to work in Durham. I had to go through a temp agency to get in the door where I'm working now. My working 7 days a week for months on end(from Aug to Jan.) paid off though as I was hired permanently by the company in January.
