I get the impression that xtar makes better chargers than nitecore
As a recent owner of one of these fine devices, I highly recommend it! Feels great in your hand!
I find that big firing button appealing. Are you gonna try arctic fox?

Oh, the sponsor of the contest I won wants me to write a review for my new eVic Primo mini. What kind of info do people usually like to hear for a review? I don't really feel qualified to give a review, but since it was free and they asked, I'll oblige
Compare it to your other mods - I know you have a bunch. You are eminently qualified.

I'd start with how if feels ( heavy, light, flimsy, sturdy) how easy it is to set-up, works out of the box. Features, changing modes, is it intuitive or do you need a PhD? Battery life, TC....

And on my first visit at the classies I landed a dragon which I hoped to get some day. Now I have everything I need and I have to try and stay away from the classies so I won't be tempted. :p

that was wonderful all round. Huge congrats Bea I know you will love it. :p:wub:

Just write down what you think. It looks like a very nice mod btw. Break it down into a couple sections.

Technical info (get from their website) including dimensions.

Fit /finish /feel in hand

Power delivery and temp control thoughts

Overall impressions

Disclose you won the mod in a contest somewhere in the review. Probably up front.

To those of you that use Arctic Fox, what is the biggest change/benefit you see with using it?

If you like to tinker with settings..AF is great. Play around with temperatures and learn how to make power curves too fine tune the hit better. You can preset 8 different profiles for every wire or build type your using. With the IStick 100TC I was able to change the 2,3,4 clicks to different setting and menus and a bunch of other stuff you have to explore to find. Real time monitor to see how your hitter is running when taking a hit....lots of nifty stuff and if you don't like AF its easy to revert back to stock factory settings.

Sounds interesting ! I like that there's no danger of permanent "damage" if I do it...good to know I can revert back, if necessary!
