Do tell!
I have heard that it is an excellent wick material and that it can be had in certain unmentionable sections of your local drug store.
I'm not worried about VG, used in other applications. First thing I stocked up on was nic, seemed like the weakest link in the chain. Quality regulated mods and a few mechs are next on my list and then rebuildable tanks and parts for those tanks. I'm sure customs won't be able to get everything ordered from china so some things I'll take a chance on. I do know someone that makes their own mechs too, a friend of my husbands, if it ever came down to it I could tap him for assistance. I do prefer a nice regulated device though, haven't yet had any experience with mechs.
That's come up a few times too. Wicking materials aren't high on my vapeapocalypse stock up list either, cotton facial pads and other wick materials have other uses than vape so they won't be hard to get....and I heard a rather amusing rumor about Rayon
Handy, as long as he has access to equipment.
Me too, but I prefer having a nice stock of the stuff I love, especially mods and RTAs. I already make my own coils and juiceIf the vapocalypse happens I can make my own mod, make my own coils, and make my own juice. If I see four horsemen galloping around I'll put in a rush order for liters of 100 mgs nic in PG and gallons of USPG anhydrous VG.
Tried it and it works well. Pleased. Never buying wicking material marketed for vaping againThey say it's the Kotex U brand. I still haven't tried that

What route? But you don't have to go that route. You can buy parts online at various places and there are loooong videos on YouTube that will show you how to put them together.
OK, so I really haven't done much with rayon, but if I was going to, I'd buy from Sally's, way cheaper than the drug store option. Also avoids the following conversation if I run into someone I know in the drigstoreTried it and it works well. Pleased. Never buying wicking material marketed for vaping again

"Dude, what the heck are you buying tampons for?"
"Ummm, my wife?"
"Dude, you aren't married"
"Ummm, my daughter?"
"Dude, she's 25 and married, and live 3 hours away"
"All right, fine, I'm buying 'em for vaping"
Working with one doesn't particularly worry me, as I am definitely a TP and not pushing any limits. It's deciding on a device that won't cost me an arm and a leg but is still reliable and just going for it. I am notorious for buying the wrong thing in a haste. I don't want to make the same mistake on this one. I am expecting a bit of a windfall sometime this year, maybe next year (inheritance type stuff from my dad passing last year), and a couple mechs will be on my "time for a treat" list.As a tootle puffer you'd probably be fine with a mech mod and a quality 18650 as I understand it.

My dad is like kinda crazy paranoid and he kept a box of tampons in the trunk of the car because he read that was a good way triage bullet woundsOK, so I really haven't done much with rayon, but if I was going to, I'd buy from Sally's, way cheaper than the drug store option.
