30-35w is a good start, then lower TEMP back down and start increasing to suit your needs...
Jac Vapour Series B DNA 75, 5 click lock followed by 2 second +&- hold takes you to temp select. I can change the wattage from the home screen for lack of a better term. I was down at 11w to start , moving it up slowly to see what difference it makes. I should also state that it's a good vape, really smooth, even my fairy puffing hubby didn't have a problem. did you download a profile from steam-engine for your build? I didn't notice any decrease in throat hit and I have mine set to 425F
First try to up the power a bit, but start at a lower temp. I have a DL atty on a Therion squonk set at 0.47 ohms, 35w and 440 deg F. I vape 1mg nic.
The replacement cute as a button baby blue ikonn arrived this morning. Loaded up and vaping like a charm
What about the interface is bothering you ? Maybe it's something you can change in escribe?
I don't think so. 1)Too many steps to change max temp 2)when you are in tc mode the big number on screen is not temperature so it's not immediately clear when you are in tc mode 3)If you switch to watt control mode, you have to turn off the device to get back into tc 4) On all my other crappier devices the menu system is simply easier to navigate 5) Even the broken English instruction manual on my kanger kit lists every button combo and corresponding function in an easy to read table
It can be changed in escribe. In the settings for each profile, you can choose temperature dominant or power dominant. When it's set to temp dom, the up down buttons change the temp, and you have to lock, then hold up and down to change the wattage.

1/2) can be changed in escribe I think you just have to check the box for temp control in that specific profile.
3). You just have to change profiles. Setup a profile with tc and thats it. Again escribe
5) the button combos should be listed but there's a general DNA manual if you haven't seen it.

Sounds like volcano should have set it up better but you can configure it to display temp in temp control. Etc. I also found that very annoying on another mod and went in and changed it.

I just looked at the default profiles and they're awful. Definitely not well co figured out of the factory but most DNA buyers want to use escribe anyway.

I used steam engine to design the build. I'm getting more used to it now and it's a good vape. Have been creeping the watts up, not at the sweet spot yet but it's pretty pleasant anyway.
I did set up a profile, but I found no documentation about that "Temperature-Dominant" check box so I never checked it. Trying now.
Yah I edited my post previously to say to change and get temp I think you just check that box. Looks like you beat me to it
The first few pages of that pdf IS the manual that lavabox included.
Did lavabox block the battery management functionality?

On page 21, there is a description of all things you can do in the "Mod" tab which I do not have. I also don't have that "Research" tab either
Also on page 10, they don't have that "Temperature-dominant" checkbox at all in their screenshot
