WAS is the key word, they're all sold out now!

I should have posted about it in here. They had the gem and chalice three on sale for AGES. Anyway second hand is affordable now. Gus hasn't updated his sale stuff in. Along time. I was stoked to get that 500 mod for $25.

And it very well might be, Hools. I do believe we have to try things out to know if it suits our style(s).

For me tho, it was not illusionary to burn thru a gallon of vliquid per puff with the Digi.
Not illusionary, maybe, but exaggeratory?

My budget I think is around $50. If it has to be a clone because the original is too much then I'd buy the clone initially. I've only been building on rda's because I used to vape DL all the time but recently I switched over to mtl 90% of the time so I don't know what kind of builds I'd favor for mtl.
An SXK doggy style and a Kfl clone from FT... 28awg kanthal on a 2-2.5 mm rod above 1 ohm...well under $50

I guess there's a bigger spectrum for a mtl rebuildable tank than I thought. The best way to go about it is take the recommendations, buy one, two or three and take it from there. I need to experiment. Thanks for the suggestions. Much appreciated.

My coppervape skyline clone is finally come into itself. It just needed the right air discs and build. And afc setting. And wicking.

Oh yah it took a while to get it all sorted out. However I do see why people like it so much now. There's a lot of throat hit with this tank.

I guess I need to order the authentic air disk though I do think it's peek. I just think the Chinese are using peek hats a different color. I've dry burned my coil which is around a mm or so from the air disc and by a mark on the air disk. If it was regular plastic it would have been affected. It seems to Me there are two different types of peek or two slightly different colors.

That said for €6 it's probably worth buying one I know 100% is peek. Just to be safe and bit inhale plastic.

Also it turns out my view on he new yaeliq juices was scewed by the microdrip and potentially tainted cotton. I loaded ultimate cake in he skyline and while it's not award winning it's certainly vapeable.

A little bummed to see Charlie noble pushed good cookie over to the vape dojo brand which would be good because it costs less but it's bad because they no longer make it over 6mg. Still at $20 for 100ml I guess I can extract 6ml and replace it with 6ml of 100mg/ml nicotine.

I have to order more nicotine - and I really don't think I want to pay nude nicotine prices.

Do any of you buy salt based nicotine and if so from where?

I believe Nicotine River carries salts also, check them out. I buy all my DIY from them.

@h00ligan besides the tainted cotton (that just sounds dirty....lol) how do you like the microdrip? i don't know of many other people that have them.
I have the mini-atty and it is a really great vape... I assume they are close in function.

kinda. the drip i find much easier to build. the post are a little wider apart. it's also not really a tank, so it's much more forgiving when I screw up the wicking. feel a dry hit coming on? just drop a couple drips of juice (say that ten times) on there. lol.

For the most part I really like it. The vape quality is very very good but usage is a little bit of a let down. I wish there was some knurling on that top cap to make getting it off to fill easier. Given it's so small and the different design of the long wicks and such it can be a bit of a pain to drip to compared to shorter deep well chubby rda but once you're vaping it, it's very hard to fault.

How long has the microdrip been "out of stock" now???
That's the one RDA that I would probably buy a couple of.
But, ........... guess I'll just have to tootle along with these ;)

    Question:
Why would you take the top off a microdrip to drip??
