Off topic.

Going through 168gb of photos to delete the ex out of my life and get down to a more selective bunch.

I just finished a candid portrait of a family member. I think it turned out pretty well. This is my nephew (he's older than me-I have an interesting family tree) and probably closest to him out of all my family.

skimming thru several threads,
seems peeps are a bit shy about trying TEMP CONTROL thought this would be perhaps a "push" to try it
no harm will come to you or your pets...

I certainly fit that description of shying away from TC. Wattage mode just seems more straightforward. That doesn't mean that I'm not willing to try though!

Wattage mode IS more straight forward. VV is more straight forward than wattage. Mechs/unregulated are more straight forward than VV.

However, all of those can (and will) lead to a burnt hit. TC, when set up properly, means a beautiful, consistent vape until the tank is dry.

Puf's methodology is quite good... not what I use, but good.

I start a little higher with both wattage, and temperature... between 40 and 80 watts depending on my build, and I start at about 400F.

You've told me all that about you. But what is it I don't understand?
